    That was really wonderful and helpful. I love this fabric treatment. What a great idea . I do mitre corners in quilting but never thought of applying it to my garment construction.
    You're the best!

    I've only done mitered corners once and this was a great refresher on how to do them and how nice they look! I may need to watch this video again just to reinforce the process in my head! Thank you so much for your great teaching content! I love following your channel! 🥰

    I've been using the hand basting method ever since I started watching your channel! No regrets as the finish is so much nicer and sometimes also easier to machine stitch it after. Now I'll be using the mitered corners too! Thanks so much for the wonderful tutorial!

    Mitred corners give a garment a special touch. I couldn’t do them before but after seeing your instructions I feel confidant that I can. Useful on other handicrafts too. Thank you again for another great video.

    I made a mitred corner on the split on the long Allegro skirt - the way the instructions said to do it was a real mess along the edge which showed to the outside.

    I spent the morning rewatching your pants fitting vids, those Largo Cargoes are really picking on me!
    Now that i watch this new vid, can i just say how much more wonderful your new haircut looks! You’re always beautiful, but the shorter hair really works for you 🧡
    Mitered corners always look better! I’m bad at them 😂
    Now i know the dreaded maths involved, maybe I’ll be able to do a better job of it!

    Can I do the mitered corner if the seam allowances are different? Vent is 1/2" and hem is 1". Or would it have to be folded

    • @LiftingPinsandNeedles
      @LiftingPinsandNeedles  5 месяцев назад

      Yes you can but it’s not easy or fast and that’s why I don’t demonstrate this here. Try to even them out or try the other methods I showed at the end :)
