Your Forgotten Friends Fridays go so well with Scrappy Saturdays, love them both!
❤️ I love doing my ATCs and arty postcards on my Gelli plate.
Gelli printing with them is on my list! Great minds! 😂❤️
Most definitely. Love me some geliplate play!
Wow you have a ton of cards to make Gayle. So glad you enjoyed your granddaughter’s volleyball games. Have a great weekend.💕Amy
Forgotten Fridays, Scrappy Saturdays.....love them both! Oh and I love those postcards! 😍
Well, it’s mixed media Monday, but I’m watching Forgotten Friends and Scrappy Saturday. Since I work on the weekend I have to play catch-up on Monday. I love these ideas for 4x6 index cards. I have a bunch on hand. Also a ton of old card backs from cards my mom gave me. Now to find both. Grandkids are such a blessing. I have 7, 2 boys and 5 girls. My daughter has 4 girls…ages 24-5 years. Lol, she likes new beginnings. Had two girls then remarried and had two more. So much fun.
How apt a title for me to tune in to today. I've been lost for sometime it would seem. Have missed watching your videos and miss seeing your inspiration. Lost my hubby of 54+ years last August and well, still haven't really waded through all that I'm sure is yet to come. Finding my way in this new world I'm now living. Crafting is vital to igniting that spark to live once again. Glad you have a chance to see you work some wonder on your forgotten friends. I need to do the same...one stamp, die or journal at a time. Until then, I shall enjoy watching your make pretty things.
Welcome back, Jeanette! I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. Sending big comforting hugs of friendship. 🤗❤️
Hi Gayle... I've been stamping for over 20 years. It would help if you trimmed the stamp sort of fussy cutting around it so you don't get those lines. Also use acrylic blocks. Don't rub the stamp on the pad, tap it a couple of times to ink it.
Gayle I woke up this morning a little down and watching you just brightened my morning. Now I will go get my second booster shot and come home and craft. Thank you. I always watch you first thing everyday.💖😍💝
Another fantastic Forgotten Friends Friday! I got so many ideas of what to do with some of the note cards and odd sized cards I have. Now to find time to utilize the ideas. So many many many ideas and so little time. lol Have a blessed day!
I love this series, Gayle. I think a lot of us can relate to your forgotten friends. While I was watching you, I was thinking it would be fun to see you collage with only Daphne's Diary scraps.
Watching in 2024…Hi, Gayle! ❤️
I love forgotten friends Friday so much fun Gayle ❤
Good morning sunshine...4x6 greeting card toppers, journal cover toppers.
These are great!!
Gayle, I'm loving Forgotten Fridays! I repurpose a lot of greeting cards by punching the fronts. I have so many card backs. You have given me a lot of inspiration! Thank you so much!! Carolyn
These are a great idea. Love the idea of collaging a bunch at a time, that was a great idea by Ceri. I know you and Ceri will have a wonderful video chat.
As you can see I finished two days of videos back to back. And I’m still behind! But I will have time to catch up next week after surgery. I just love your collages. They look so professional and just right. I’m never impressed with mine but I always am with yours. This was a great forgotten friends!
Oh I love these and how you just spread all of them out and collaged all at one time.
"MASS GALLAGING..LOL
Hi Gail, just love watching you! I'm a card maker and just started making journals, I love it so much! Just wanted to also let you know that if you bring the ink to the stamp, your less likely to get ink around the ends of the stamp.
Ooohh journalling cards and pockets too! 😍
You know I've been watching you for ages now... But I've finally decided to watch, with a notebook next to me, to make notes! After years of me saying... Oooh I must try that.. So finally I've started taking notes. Yay for me! And thanks for being such an inspiration. And you know, it's all by you being you! 😍
Thank you, Louisa! So glad you’re jumping in! Love and hugs to you! ❤️
Hi Gayle, I just love everything you made with your cards! I never use my washi tape as much as I could, thanks for the reminder. Hugs 🤗
Hello Gayle! Loved your FFF video; I hear ya on having grandchildren, my eldest granddaughter just started T Ball today, she was so excited. Have a wonderful weekend on see on Scrappy Saturday. 👍🌼🌼🌼
Hi Gayle just wanted to let you know that I am enjoying your Forgotten Friends Fridays. When you show us your treasures purchased from estate sales I get pensive wondering what the people would think about if they knew how you have used their stash to make beautiful things. I bet they would smile realizing that their collection of supplies went to someone who really really was excited and happy to take them home and repurpose them. It is a wonderful thing isn't it?
I'm loving these Forgotten Fridays! Maybe you could make a mini accordion Junk journal in which you could put pictures of your fabulous grandchildren!😎
Forgotten Friends, and Scrappy Saturday, two really fun days…I like how you collaged these post cards, what a great idea 💕🌸💕
Gayle I have to tell you about the reverse master board idea. Watched my grandson as they had a snow day asked do you want to craft or play a game and he chose crafting . Well I got stuff out to do the reverse master board and we both did our thing , then turned it over and cut into 3x5 . My grandson decided to make it a matching game , it was a fun thing to do . Thank you
Good morning Gayle!! Great idea's for Friday Forgotten Friends. I was thinking with the double journal card, you could sew in coffee dyed paper to make a little notebook. I do that with greeting cards too. Thanks for the great ideas!! Have an awesome Friday...💜
This is a great new series, Gayle, so many new ideas! Loving it! ❤️💕
I love what you did today! I like Forgotten Friends Friday!❤️
this is terrific and freshly springy.
Love forgotten Fridays.
I am always so amazed that you can create so many lovely pieces in an hour! I am enjoying Forgotten Friend Fridays! So much fun!
This is a idea that gives me an idea to do with scrapbooking paper that needs to be used.
Hi sis! Great projects today! I loved everything you made, they were all beautiful! I have some stacks of note/index cards I got at the thrift store that would work for all of these ideas you gave us. So wonderful! Have a fun and fabulous weekend with your family. Love you! 💖🤗❤️
Love you too! Having a blast! ❤️
I’m loving these forgotten friends Fridays especially as we have scrappy Saturday to follow, they’re becoming my favourite RUclips videos to watch! Thankyou so much for sharing your inspiration and knowledge with us. Take care and stay safe xx
This was a fun Forgotten Friends Friday!! I love what you made!! How about a flip up....2 cards joined together at the top....just a thought!! Enjoy your weekend!! TFS!! Hugs, Liz:)
Good morning, Gayle. Cute little ideas. Hope you have an amazing weekend. 🌸🐝🌼🌺
Hi & hugs back to you, I love watching your videos. Enjoyed your forgotten friends ATC's and postcard size ephemera. Thanks so much for sharing.
Good afternoon Gayle! Super sweet! Have a great weekend!
So many ideas. Whenever I watch I come away with ideas overflowing my poor brain. I liked the gelli plate idea and smooshing with distress ink, but also, almost every digital collection has 4x6 images that would make great fronts or even connected together to make tri-fold journaling cards. The front outside edge could be punched with border punches. My punches are totally forgotten friends. Take care. 😊
Good evening Gayle ❤️Wonderful Series!! We loved everything and you can use the double journal card as a greeting card!! You are always so amazing!! TFS May you have a joyous, positive vibes with no drama kind of week my Sweet Friend ❤️🐞✌️🕉️
Another wonderful video Miss Gayle, today is my birthday since it’s April 1st, wonderful gift to watch your videos!🤗🌻💕🎆
Outstanding ideas to create post cards and ATCs. Thank you.
Loving the collage Gayle!
Good afternoon Gayle. I was waiting for you to say “but wait! there’s more!” 😂. Have a great day and we’ll see you tomorrow. Hugs 🤗 from DarvaDee in NC
I just love you! Other than making pockets, I didn't know what to do with the stack of 4x6 cardstock. Thank you for the wonderful ideas! Hugs....
Love these. Someone gave me so many index cards that I can use for this. Seeing the beautiful spring colors makes me happy too.
I am so glad I caught this 💕I loved the postcards!
Just having my morning coffee and your video popped up! Nice to watch you create! Enjoying Forgotten Friends Friday! Love 💕
Gayle, you will have better luck with the UM stamps if you lay the stamp down and tap the pad onto it rather than pressing the stamp into the pad. Or, you could trim the stamp closer to the text in order to eliminate the phantom lines. Thanks for always stimulating our creativity as we wrestle our way thru our own stash of forgotten friends.
Another name for Fridays might be From Forgotten to Fantastic Friday. This is definitely another winner! Have fun with your social calendar and good luck getting rain.
Hi Gayle, I just can't picture you drinking beers LOL!!!
Hi Gayle! I appreciate you!
Love the postcards and the method.
Good morning Miss Gayle☕️
I'm loving these Forgotten Fridays!! Have a very blessed Friday and enjoy your weekend❤
Morning Susie! ❤️
Ideas are popping in my head for journal cards, atc's, greeting cards and mixed media is coming into play with it. Yeah!! Love them Gayle!
For me, this is a new experience. I didn't do ATCs or Gelli stamping. I enjoy watching you and I love love ALL the scraps from your craft room! Thank you for sharing.
Lots of great ideas. Love the collaged postcards.
Good morning Gayle. You give so many ideas that I can't keep up. When I was making cards I used the decorative scissors all the time. They are something I should revisit. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful time with your busy social time. Have a great day.
happy Friday:) I had a lot of card bases left from my card making days and I made booklets with a few pieces of coffee dyed papers for writing.
All the ideas I had were suggested! So I'll just say HI Gayle! I love these, the surprise when you turn them over is the best!
Hi Gayle! I'm getting caught up on videos today. I hope that you got rain!! It is raining here today (Tuesday), and I am so happy for it. We have already been dealing with wildfires here (east Tennessee, Smoky Mountains)... not fun at all!
I love watching your collage videos, but I don't collage much...go figure 😏. I think maybe it's a lack of patience issue. Lol.
Anyway, thanks for another great video!
Gayle,- nice job showing how to use those cards. You seem to have plenty still. Haha
Carol from California
Love your ideas... Thanks for sharing.
Another Fabulous Forgotten Friends Friday!! LOVE the collaged postcards & the addition of the postage stamp!! LOVE & HUGS ❤🤗
Happy Friday Gayle!
Been doing the same about stuff I just keep trying to find a home for, use it up. Busy this morning getting Etsy stuff ready for the mail so I have the weekend with hubby. Hope you two have fun stuff planned, take care! 💜
Gayle and breakfast. Check ✔. That double journal card makes me want to include a photo. Just the right size. Love it!
You and Ceri do such cute items out of forgotten items
Morning! Thank you for the ideas. Love them, even though I was a cut as needed, when I was doing cards this will be great! It also gave me some ideas to use on those 12x12 sheets that I don’t particularly like. Thank you so very much! 🥰
Love Forgotten Friends, Friday!
Just now getting to this video. Great ideas!
Hi Gayle, love your great ideas! The only thing I might suggest is to use scrap pieces such as strips like Cori's clusters. Also, I have way too much washi tape, and do lines of washi tape strips. That's all I got. Thank you for your daily videos!!! Love them all.
They would make great page flip outs!
I have a lot of index cards, will give this a whirl , thanks for sharing.
You are so blessed to have so many friends. That is one of my prayers. Great video as always. Tfs
Good morning! Have a wonderful start of the weekend! Stay warm and dry! Blessings 💕
Morning Julie! ❤️
Hi Gayle. I love your forgotten Friday's. I did my Margarete Miller challenge last year on some 4 x 6 cards and made a bunch of journaling cards from them
Great idea, Jeanne! ❤️
Thanks for the great post card idea. It will be fabulous to use in my vintage weathered garden journal
On the post card stamp that the sides touch the paper. Cut close to the image and use a stamping block. You will get a cleaner cut.
Great ideas Gayle! I actually have a lot of index cards I was wondering how to use.
Hi Gayle! Just letting you know, I am still watching everyday! Forgotten Fridays are great! Thank you for all the cool ideas! ( was feeling a little need for a mo jo boost, myself!) Blessings -- Cindy
My list of must try crafts keeps growing… But this is going to the top of the list lol thank you so much for sharing❤️❤️
Blessed Friday ❤
Good morning from rainy Maine 🌲🌲 Happy Friday Gayle 😊
Morning Alex! ❤️
That was a fun FFF! You are so inspiring to watch! Hugs
I loved today’s video. I have a big box full of old greeting card backs. Great idea for them all. 💕 I started making a forever book out of some for gramma brag books. And accordion ephemera books for small stuff
You got lots done! Love everything you did today. Thanks for sharing.
I hope you have a fabulous Friday! Love&hugs
Thanks! You too, Darcy! ❤️
Good Morning Gayle! Have a wonderful day!
Morning Kath! ❤️
Hope your day goes well, good afternoon 🦋🦋🦋
Hi, dear Lucy! ❤️
Hi Gayle I got some ink stamps in my little craft room the sewing and knitting room I love 😍 it i have got cardboard with stamping on it and I will use it Amanda perkins from the uk England 🏴
Great ideas! In SD we need rain or snow too. TFS
I love how you did the cards and how they turned out..🤗🤗
I love these cards. Could you collage around the edges like you have done on journal pages? That could use up really small scraps. The center could be used for journaling or for stamping, or Cori Dahmen's tiny strips. Just a thought.
They can go in larger journals as a photo mat on a pages or a pull out pockect
Good morning Gayle! This is my second video of yours I'm watching this morning. I love your forgotten friends videos. Did you remember to use the Merry Christmas postcard shape paper for your Christmas journals or are they still forgotten friends? Hope you have a happy day today😊!
I love f f Friday 💕💕💕
Great idea & so easy to do - thanks
Happy Friday, Gayle! Hi and hugs…🥰💕🙏🏻💐🙌🏻
Hugs back, Renay! ❤️
At 53:12 you pulled out a TN size journal with stamps/ephemera in it. It looks like there are vellum tuck spots throughout. Do you have a tutorial on this journal? It looks so interesting to me and beautiful! I absolutely love your videos - thank you!
I have lots of videos on how to make a TN, so search Gayle Agostinelli Traveler’s Notebook for those. Then, you’re right, I just cut strips of vellum about an inch wide and glued them to the pages, four or so per page. 👍❤️
An idea for the hinged cards would be to add several
Sheets of blank paper to make a notebook as opposed to a journal. Something to throw in your purse for list.
