Yea sure so the double edge sword play works like this. When it’s equipped to a monster that monster gains 2000 attack and you & your opponent take the battle damage involving that battle. But because the mikanko cards say your opponent takes the damage they take the damage that you are supposed to take. So if your opponent has a monster that is 3000att and you boost it up to 5000 because double edge sword is equipped and that monster battles your mikanko card. Your opponent will take 10000 damage.

I wouldnt side out pots just to be able to play superpoly. If you draw superoly and pot just super poly in your drawphase or standbyphase

Correct they cannot respond to it if you equipped it during the damage step
