I've been shooting with a m7 and HP5 since 2009.
I want to pick up a m10m as my everyday camera--how bad is the blown out white problems? have you shot with a red filter on it?
It’s not as bad as they say. I haven’t tried red filter but only orange. Superb image. The M10M takes time to get use to it once well manipulated it’s a joy !!

Clipping highlight is not so much a M10M problem but more a metering consideration and learning the medium you're shooting with. Much like when shooting film you want to expose for the shadows. Digital you preserve the hightlights. But it's scene dependant too, sometimes it doesn't really matter if highlight is clipped if it's not the main area of focus and not a distracting element. The amazing thing about the M10M raw files is the amount of detail you can pull out of seemingly pitch black areas in post.
