thanks for the vids =) i would also like to tell some folks to get tested, it's hard to think of sitting in a room and waiting for results, it's scary, but it's all the better you know, so you can get treatment. it's not a death sentence, change your style of living, eat healthy, exersize, take your medicine, go for check ups. and go get tested, so when the nurse says "you are Negative" you'll have all the weight lifted off your shoulders, you walk out wit a spring in your step
@xTheLaTiNx I went through a similar situation 4 years ago. I had an ex that shared heroin needles; so weeks later after sleeping with her I got a flu with a soar throat. Because of that, I felt terrified and just wanted to stay home. Subsequently in 6 months, I got myself tested and was negative. I never had felt so relieved. If you're still distraught over this, just get the hiv test done 3 months after the incident. Besides the soar throat what else makes you believe you're infected?

The thing that kinda bugs me is when doctors/researchers say if you're infected, you can only start to show symptoms after 2-4 weeks of infection, if any at all. I find that ridiculous only because everyone's body and immune systems are different. Some have better immune systems than others so to speak. I've heard of a few people who noticed symptoms 3-5 days after and unfortunately found + around then.
We're all different and unique but we are also all the same. That's why when they do research studies, they only need a small cohort of people- because human beings, in large part, are cookie-cutter. At least physiologically.

Also get tested again in a couple of months *3-5* for more certainty, If you are intending on remaining sexually active, you should get tested regularly period, and not just for hiv, even if you use protection.

I had 2 questionable encounters this month although I used a condom in both cases the women were very seedy.... About a week after the first 1 I had a sore throat for a couple of days and also I have felt strange in general and have had sporadic itchiness, but no rash and no fever/temperature. The test is like 90% accurate, but its suggested to do a followup test in 3 months for better accuracy.

Remotely - though it's labeled as some what safe, having a sores in your mouth (cankers sores or recent dental work), would increase your chances. Yes, oral sex has some risks.
