I always wanted Grimlock so for my birthday my parents asked me what I wanted and I told them Grimlock. They got me Galvatron instead because they couldn't find Grimlock and thought Galvatron was the same even though I was crushed I said thank you but was extremely disappointed.
@ no I’ve unfortunately got daughters that have no interest in transformers and my son only cared about Pokémon so I’ve never been able to sneakily buy a transformer for myself on the pretence of it being for them. Maybe one day though
Excelente video hermano. 👍
When i was little you just check the thermal rub sticker... because only originals would have that sticker which shows if its a autobot or deception... i know that was good way because back at that time that sticker was new technology and expensive to make... there fore a fake copy cat wouldn't have the special tools to make that rub sticker... I don't know what is the availability of those stickers now... but like I said when i was little that was a safe way
Great video, I have two grimlocks, one for Dino and one for alt mode display. My alt mode hits every point for being original, my Dino one has a mix of both, his arms look original, inner chest plates are good, his inner mouth lacks the circle parts and he has the extra holes in his claws, bought second hand is he some sort of Frankenstein of parts? Both jaws move identically too, not too far opening.
Hmmm I think you may have some of these wrong tbh bud. I have an early 90s EU grimlock when they got remolded over here in the UK, and mine opens it's mouth that far lol Other than that mines pretty much all spot on to the original, I personally think the mouth hinge is a molding problem.
I'm not sure if this is fuully correct because I have the original (I was born in the 80s and played with it), but mine is half half of your real and your fake...

That is better than me when I was little because I got nothing. Now living my childhood by buying them now. You?

Wow, thank you so much for this video, it's very useful.
Thanks for watching.
Hello, may I ask where you purchased the KO? I'm interested in getting them for nostalgic reasons.
I bought it from another collector. You can find them on Facebook and eBay.

I was wondering why Hasbro doesn’t have that in newer toys?

Good information! You have to watch out for those KOs.
I agree
Kos are great nowadays. At one point, I thought I'd never say that
Interesting, my Grimlock checks all these boxes for being original except for the holes in the feet...
Did you buy your Grimlock used? Maybe it’s a real Grimlock but the feet broke so the previous owner repaired it by adding the feet from a KO. 🤷🏻♂️
Good info
Thanks

So ko is better?. Lol. I love my ko set compared to originals..besides the emotion/sentimental factor. Tight, clean
Whatever makes you happy
If you can barely tell the difference then I'm just going to buy the knock off
