You did a very good job on this. I have the plans also but have to find the time to build them. Your planer sounds so quiet or is it just in the video? For my normal thicknesser, I need ear protection. Have a good time and thumbs up Tim
The thicknesser has a reduction mechanism for driving rollers. Even if it is driven by an induction motor, the thicknesser will be noisy. The structure of the jointer is very simple and it can be very quiet. However, the small gap between the tables and the blade creates a wind noise, which is the main noise source of the jointer.
Beautiful job! Matthias’ plans are great, and your courage in tackling the project equally so!
Thank you for your words, which is a kind of encouragement to me!
1000 thumbs up!!! I love how you made the motor tensioner and its locking system! Absolutely well done!
You did a wonderful job. You're making me rethink the bearing mounts on my machine.
Great job and I enjoyed the build video. I can't imagine producing a video in a foreign language. Additional congrats for that ! ! !
Matthias has said that this is his most difficult project. Congratulations on a job well done.
Peter Collin Thanks a lot
Great job guy!
Very well thought out and built machine, Thanks for the video
Very nicely done and well explained. A great project.

Nice build and video. Thank you for sharing!
Hi.Where did you get the jointer shaft?
Good stuff, well done. Would you consider a Euro type guard above the cutter head as the spring return doesn't appear to return the guard.
DRMNZ Jig is up:) these video clips that show no effect were taken before I found a suitable spring
Great job!
Very nice build and good video and description. After using some time now can you tell us if you are still happy with the MDF deck board as the fence.
When I'm doing edge jointing, the fence will be slightly bent, but I don't think it's a problem.
Very nicely done :)
Mister you are a genius 🙌🏻🙌🏻✨✨✨💪🏼💪🏼👌🏼
Well done
Great!
well done
Are you from China. I see simen S1001X.
Yup, you can know that from the description above :)
