See, the main problem with Shogun is that he requires you to be aggressive and in his face to deal a lot of damage, but the bodyguards heavily punish you for being aggressive and in his face. His bodyguards don't behave like magic; he doesn't have to cast it, they appear in correspondence with him moving pretty much. The problem is he doesn't even actually have to move, the AI just has to read that he attempted to, or that the animation started, so if you're spamming him his bodyguards will mess you up with close to no tell. To my knowledge, there is nothing else in the game that behaves like the bodyguards do, which make them pretty annoying to deal with. Honestly, Eclipse mode Shogun is more trial and error than skill. Mix in the luck element with the damage absorption, and you get a very annoying unbalanced boss fight.
You’d expect the bodyguards to not even be able to move after having beaten their asses each on separate occasions

Star you can also get absorption if you do simple enchantment and it's the most useful one as by my suggestions.
yea absorption is literlly the best enchant for armor bc it literlly has a chance to negate all the incoming damage no matter what and yea the best thing about it that its a simple recipe not a medium one so its so ez pz to get.

True damage absorption is really good but the problem is, that it has low chance of activating so you have to enchant you're gear again and again to try and get the max chance for you're armor.
just use bleeding you can easily counter damage absorption

Starinsky I have tip for you in sf2. in the starting of the fight you need to spam your attack until the game says fight after that you should spam an another attack .it works with AI only good luck.it works in sf arena also with Ai. One more tip to block you need to leave the screen

With blood reaper you can easily destroy shogun. But if you use blood reaper it's going to be too easy.

Tips for you sir star : you're using meteorite knives its a short range weapon, you should always go closer to enemy so you can spam the enemy use different attacks and avoid repeating similar attacks because the enemy will just take over, give more damage to you, and block your hits. Also general has a unobtainable weapon which is a glaive that is like two swords attached and its a mid- range weapon you should avoid going further when you have short range weapon also in long range because its their chance

I deafted Shogun in normal shadow fight 2 cuz I can't download shadow fight 2 special edition anyways after beating Shogun I deafeted the gates of shadows and then I deafeted Lynx again and then I deafeted Hermit once again and then deafeted Butcher again and now I'm in Wasp.

I think ranged magic are best for the gates as all the boss are long ranged expect buchter . so I think is best to use long ranged weapon and magic trust me I worked and try use magic when enemy is about to get up as they can take high damage while you're far away.

I used timebomb , frenzy , damage absorption and took 1 million tries to defeat him
The armor can absorb time bomb damage use bleeding or poison those can't be absorb
once you get to titan beating shogun in eciplse is easy , the gates of shadows is easy too, i have a frenzy katana and a bomb reaper weopon thingy

I played the first version (on facebook 😂) it was so cool but filled with bugs
Shadow fight 2 is the best version so far, i managed to beat titan over 5 times and now I’m going for the 6th
Btw moon sabers are the best weapon of all time (for me at least)
He uses his bodygaurds after defeating him once and uses them when he rolls or jump back so if he rolls or jump back you any of these and bravo you dodged them
He doesn't use his bodyguard it is he's ( shogun's ) ability

Only Hit shogun once his Damage Adsorption wears off hitting him whilst the Icon is still there will trigger it again making YOU the player miss out on a lot of potential Damage the best possible weapons to deal with bosses like these is too use Weapons that can Proc Bleed prime example of this being the Blood Reaper which is insanely busted bosses get Progressively harder each round Shoguns A.I is deadly in the 3rd round because at that stage bosses tend to use a lot more Magic and to be quite honest Shogun is the Final boss right before Titan so it ain't gonna be that easy chief his Bodyguards especially that just come out of thin air are just a massive chore to deal with not to mention they appear right in the middle of your attack animation meaning if they appear whilst you were trying to attack there is practically no way in Hell your gonna get away my advice to you is to get as much damage as possible and please don't sleep on magic it isn't as terrible as you think it is. Shoguns Boss fight isn't impossible however it is extremely flawed and Unbalanced something that was most likely done on purpose.
