Only Solar and Multiband/Bluetooth for me. 2 GMW-B5000 (silver and black), 2 GW-6900 (black and white), a GW-9200 Riseman and a JDM GST-B400XD, even the oldest ones, the 6900 and the Riseman still charge to full and keep their charge very well, and they are well over 10 years old. Casio has some great solar technology. And the fact they are all pin point accurate, beeping all together every hour brings a smile to my face. Perfectly dependable workhorses!
They're not, though. Casio and Seiko always offer great value watches. Just because this particular watch is over your budget, doesn't necessarily mean it's overpriced, and that the manufacturer is greedy.
I understand what you're saying, but I personally do all the settings via Bluetooth and rarely use alarms. I have the yellow GA-B2100C-9AER and never use the Digi display. I do love this rose gold version though and it having a display would not put me off buying one.
does the first endlinks curve down better than on the metal or titanium squares? never could wear the metal squares because the lug to lug including the endlinks was always way too big for my 6. inch wrist.. really want a full metal gshock but the endlinks always kills it for me..
It doesnt work for people with small wrists. The end link is the issue. I have the same model but not wearing it often because of it. When reviewing a watch such issues should be pointed out.
So glad to see this watch in a video. Everyone else just has the silver one. The pictures don't do this one justice. It looks great in this color. Excellent choice and video. This will be the color I shop for. Thanks for showing it to us.
I think this watch is for someone who wants great wrist presence. The negative display, although not ideal for quickly reading time, looks sleeker. Just backlight the watch for literally a second or look at your smartphone
Bluetooth --> it sync the watch 4 times a day with connection link to phone = precise time Tough Solar --> it charges the watch battery from any source of light like sun, day light, torch etc. = endless battery life
@@e28forever30 the g shock "casi oak" is worth about $100 and this 1 is $600,your paying $500 for the steel case and bracelet, in other words, your getting a steel bracelet for $500.
@@TheWheelofLife100 That goes for a lot of watches. Do you think any other Quartz watch of the same value has a tremendously expensive module inside? Nope, most Quartz watches do not cost an arm and a leg to manufacture. But this will beat any other 600 dollar Quartz piece in a lot of way’s, being built like a tank. I see you made a calculation error, do not compare this to the regular GA-2100, this one is tough Solar and Bluetooth, so it is comparable to the GA-B2100, which is more expensive.
@@TheWheelofLife100 I think the opposite. You won’t get a full stainless steel, shockproof, self powering, self adjusting watch which is built like a tank ( look at the bracelet lugs, 3(!) on each side) anywhere for that money. This is the coolest color.
Markers are nicely contrasting with the dial, this will make its way in the collection!
Your vids are my crack
My favorite CasiOak so far. The Solar takes it to "never sell" category. And yes, I am replacing my non-solars with these!

Rose Gold?
I thought this was Bronze?
Sorry, it is overpriced. Most Japanese watch makers are getting too greedy.
True, but then EVERY other watch company has been doing the same for years.
But it is so pretty 🤤 most thing nowdays are overpriced, you can't go wrong with a Casio watch

“Caucasian red look”
😂
I think you just created your rapper name.
Caucasian Red is a thing, Big Perm. 😅
How odd, was just thinking about buying one an hour ago!
I totally dig that copper look!
Casio has lost its mind with all the negative displays.
Negative looks better on this model.
I think it would look better with no display.
Display is totally readable with backlight. And yes, negative display looks better.
@@murphski8136 you need the display to use the 5 alarm function...

I just got mine today.. loved it
That is a gorgeous GShock Rob I hope you enjoy it!
Nice model. But mineral glass in this price tag is real BS.
Would lose some of its shock resistance I assume if they changed to sapphire

love this color!
how long does the battery last?
Hi, could you please measure the lug to lug of this casioak including the first link and compare it to the metal 5600? Thanks!
nice watch, i would buy for 400 usd not more

Omg the titanium/sapphire one would be amazing
I think it's way to expensive! And i also have Casio's with negative display, and it suck's!
Wish they'd do them in titanium.
That would definitely cost way more, but that would be nice.
At least this version is marginally legible
This thing is insane! Went to an place that I know and they don't have this yet.
Yeah, for some reason the physical shops only have the Black or Silver ones.
Nice watch. Cannot decide between this or the square. Thanks for upload l.
Casioak all the way dude.
It's surprising how different the color of this,
* G-Shock GMB2100GD “Rose Gold” metal 2100
compared to the
* G-Shock gmw-b5000gd-4 rose gold square
Cool watch but that part of the bracelet extending out from the lugs make it look ridiculous on my 6.75in wrist.
Fun fact: The part you are talking about adds to the shock-resistance of the watch. That's why it looks like this. Still too big for my wrists either
@@TheMonsterHunterTV Makes sense
i want to love this watch, but i know the negative display will bother me so much, that i would stop wearing it soon enough.
Positive or negative these screens are so small I can’t really use them
You should be able to use them with the backlight on.
If you can’t… you should think about getting some reading glasses.
No Multiband 6...
...and still precise time sync 4 times a day via Bluetooth. What a big deal.
criminal to only have mineral glass in these at the price point they want
The 'Liquid Metal' look is so good and truly unique. The price is scary though.
U cant see anything with that negative digital display
Any plans to sell that Zelos?
silver is looking better on hand.
What is the purpose of the bluetooth? What is the meaning of solar?

Which colour ia better ? In real life. Copper or gold ? For that model
copper looks old rich vibes

lovely color! I hope G-shock eventually comes out with a smaller case size and lug to lug in the metal version
Unlikely, because the size of the watch is affected by the shock resistance.
Way too expensive for what you get, much better options on the market at this price range
can u pay someone to make the finish matte? i hate the glossy steel finish
