A simpler, much cheaper solution would be to replace the conveyor system with a moving carriage that holds 1. a vial, 2. a load cell(measures weight), 3. scanner (Identifies the ingredient) and 4. An actuator that opens a valve at the bottom of the ingredients tank. The ingredient tanks only need a Identification label to tell the carriage stop if it need the ingredient for its recipe.

Even if you create a scent you *like*, the 'machine' still does not mix with an individual's oils and *natural* body odour to confirm the scent is a good choice for YOU to wear as a perfume. As an air freshener (or scent), sure, and, *possible* your new signature perfume, as long as it still smells nice after about 15-minutes of wearing. Kewl idea, though. 🙂
