too big for the Aussie Tracks!
now your next challenge you need too grow 2 ft taller so you can reach things easier lmfao or give it to simon
next build TRX ram ? 800hp jase do it
so chev,, are following ford & dodge, as usual.. cant think of sht themselves.. ausie.. id be buying the power wagon,, buy, drive, no mods needed..but, i dont have 500k to blow, by the time your finished..
ooohhh,, fk,,its an LS .. dont touch it.. if it was the 6.6 duramax isuzu. no probs..
These builds are getting more "Pimp My Ride" everytime. I feel like the mext rig will have a live Barra tank or hot tub in it
Yes, getting ridiculous! 4 light bars, 2 front winches, huge sound system(who uses one of them, let alone 2 in the bush??) and a freakin TV. Whoops, forgot about the light show inside the canopy! C'mon guys! I know you have sponsors but there is a line and you've crossed it. It's becoming corny.
Well then dont watch it fuk it's that simple
I remember when the show wasn't a sellout
@@dwanehart8150 every minute of every episode is now a sales pitch. It used to be about adventures, now it's about selling products with adventures to promote them
I'm American and it's out of reach for us. These new utes/trucks are built the same way as older utes. The new ones has a million sensors and the replacement/repairs are very difficult and expensive.
I miss the humble builds people can relate to 😢
same. miss the Toyotas. just got a 08 Tacoma I want to build up from watching the older episodes for ideas.
I agree. The ones that you don’t sprang 50k+ and it is as good as a stock 30k 4x4
There's plenty of shows for that..I love these bigger rigs
Same here
It’s good to see high end builds to, aim higher in life brother be inspired don’t be that guy
So much for the awesomeness of the "out of the box" Baha suspension.
😂😂 replaced with shit suspension
@@jpash7166😂😂
Out of the box suspension is mint, just people don't understand spool valves here yet and how to tune them. My zr2 feels like driving over a cloud on corrugations
I came here to also say why trash the DSSV shocks with just plain struts. Peak Suspension makes coilover upgrades for the DSSV.
Had to be thrown out for the GVM upgrade.
It’s such a shame that a4a has gone so far away from its core values as a 4wd channel ,
What happen to the good old days and keeping things simple....
Plus that Bullbar looks like its hanging a bit too low. Be interesting to see how it performs and what issues pop up (if they are revealed)
You can already see in the shorts at the end the bullbar has been doing some ploughing haha
US engineering meets reality.
This trip should be entertaining!
They're engineered for American reality, not Mad Max land. Their range is towing a machine to a construction site to being an unnecessary daily driver.
just curious in regard to all the added weight , appreciate you have tried to use aluminium for most but all the fitout components are heavy and the ZR2 only has 700KG payload so by the time you filled up the Bigger fuel tank , fresh water tanks and supplies to actually do long range mission you would not be able to Carry any Passengers < Is there a reason you didn't opt for the 2500 that would have been more practical with capacity ? DOES look Bloody Good however
Thought the same, but once upgraded. Steps it up a bit!
FIGURES BEFORE AFTER
GROSS VEHICLE MASS 3300KG 4300KG
PAYLOAD 760KG 1760KG
GROSS COMBINATION MASS 7160KG 7160KG
What did you do to stop the roof leaking where you added the nutserts?
Them side steps will cop a really good beating thats for sure!! Cant wait to see the performance 💥
Ready have by looks of it at end of video
ZR2 sticker on the fridge from where the snorkel was is a nice touch!!
I like it when he takes it 'home.' All that pallet racking etc in the background... I want a shed like that.
Can't wait to see it on the tracks either mate.🎉👍🐕🤠
Friggin awesome bro.
Cheers from NZ 😎🎸🤘
I have been waiting for y'all to come around, and see how an American truck does in Australia. I'm looking forward to seeing y'all's adventures with this truck.
Truck looking fire ❤
Great video as always legends! 👍
That's an insane rig.
Can’t wait get mine next week ordered 12 months ago !
Beautiful Chevy.
V8 America 😍😍😍
Not sure who supplied the information but the engine is a variant of the LT2 motor known as L87 and the transmission is a Chevrolet 10L80 which was a collaboration with Ford, not an Allison
The canopy portions are spot on.
I absolutely love Jase and Simon and ALL 4, however these builds are getting more and more into the upper 1% class. Not many can afford $250K plus for a 4WD tourer. Sure it is great, but of all your viewers, I bet only 1% could afford these builds, or they are young, overpaid FIFO DINKs. I do love the snorkels, and the bar and wrap are outstanding. Jase next year PLEASE do an ISUZU 155/75 NPS dual cab, as these are getting MASSIVELY popular over last 2-3 years.....
Longtime fan of the show and proud to see a Chevy represented!
Can't wait to hear it roar!
What a beast of a truck!!!
One word Awesome
Great work guys respect
Nice Build. I love the final Rapped colour.
Awesome to see something different!!
Looking forward to seeing this hit the tracks - epic build!
300 series was the same...just got a tv and internet.
What an absolute beast. Can't wait to see it lit up. One thing you forgot but I know you haven't got the room is the NudieBoss.
Love the rapped colour 👏👏
Should have got the 2500hd
Sick build up chev 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Damn that"s one good looking rig.
It's about time jase you came back from the dark side with that ford and got a beautiful Chevy Silverado GREAT STUFF Mate
She looks mint Jase. Congrats, can't wait to see where you take it. 🫣🫣
Nice taste in upgrades hey twin air takes was smick 🎉
I haven't seen a carton for the workers come on it speaks thousands of words
Darn nice truck, I reckon smaller lighter vehicles are better for bush work, my old Suzuki would climb trees
I can’t wait to get my hands on one of those buggers
Wow so impresiive
Epic!
i want that truck, what a beast
Must be nice to be able to do all that at no cost to yourself??
Wow, what an awsome 400K truck, wont be seeing many of those on the tracks. Need a Harrop blower to give it some more grunt to go with that Chevy V8 growl. Would make for a totally awsome raffle (or one like it) for kids charity. I'll be sticking with my 78 though, that's about as high tech as I'm willing to go for remote traveling, without the multivehicle backup and budget these utubers have.
well, it's an LS, so the sky's the limit on power mods. Not that you want a highly stressed engine where those guys go.
Wow what a beast jase, im surprised u didnt do a big 6" lift,
Funny hearing the Norwegian guy with the Lazer gadget hearing a auzzie accent in norwegian hehehe love it 🤣🤣
Nice
Internet, smart tv, sound system etc, i think these guys have lost their way. What happened to the remote camping, fishing, 4wdriving?
man awesome but what happend to an old landrover a swag and an esky its getting a bit over the top
You're an animal Jase. Nice rig
I Like the choice of the ZR2, probably the only American ute I’d consider. Looks really cool, without being over the top, and the engine isn’t some ridiculous supercharged mess
Dam straight should of got the 2500 !! A serious truck
Hi Jase I watch all 4 Adventure I'm sorry for the big CHEVY that was Damaged 💔 Hart Braking suff but I'm Glad that Jessie was not Hurt ,,,,but i was very Excited about the Creb Track in the wet I Really Shows yours and Simon's experience in the Bush wow we mate
Jase has the best personality. Lucky kids of his 😊
Like the truck but overkill on front lights tbh
needs a harrop supercharger ..... kinda disappointed one wasn't added "australia toughest" but no supercharger to help the big rig move with all that added weight plus the toy haulers that'll be dragged along behind
Niiice. Would like to know what the GVM is.
If you didn't have all the sponsors, how much would a rig like that run ya? 250,000? 300,000? Would be nice to see a comparison between this and the F250 build. Maybe you could do a video comparing the two and tell us which you like better after you do a season of touring on it.
Funny this rig is on car sales up for 250k
Good to see a Silverado and not broken down f truck
Sorry to disappoint you but it does NOT have an Alison tra tnsmission it has a 10 speed designed by GM and Ford together
Brings a new meaning to the term double line pull 😂
Does the vehicle have a GVM upgrade and is it under weight now after all the upgrades.
How heavy is the norweld tray and canopy.
good luck trying to fix it -who has parts -dont go bush
WOW - so nice !!! love to know the total $$$$$
This will be an outback weapon ..👍thanks for the chat at the Sydney 4x4 show on Saturday Clearview stand ('old mate' with 80 series and intercooler that wouldn't quite fit 15mm). Looking forward to the new series next year.
You will need a tanker tpo hook onto whatever you are twing with that thirsty petrol 8
Noice !!!!
Just don't let Simon talk you into bog-holing it straight away like one of the previous builds... which ended in tears!
Finally got a real truck ! 👍
Nice! just out of curiosity what's the length bull bar to spare wheel compared to a 79LC?
You absolutely MUST get a Dynamic Fuel Management disable on this engine! The lifters commonly fail when DFM is active. Disable it and you will be golden.
It's a shame there was no mention of the brand name of the Satellite connectivity. I assume it wasn't sponsored so it wasn't mentioned, but it may be vey beneficial to the 4wd fraternity. It certainly didn't look like a Starlink dish. Please let your FANS know.
Pretty sure it is starlink , a site manager at work has one on his prado lol
Love the show , I'm from the US , could you explain why you wrap a vehicle like the new Chevy ZR2, does the wrap protect from scratche's and stuff
Lets hear from all the LC guys! Digital dash, no spare parts etc.
Im a peasant patrol guy myself, one of those huge monstrosities wouldnt make it through the bush tracks where i live, already cane the paint and panel on the GU to get down em.
Do you think that having no spare parts availability is a good feature or??
@@warrencramer4516 no I don't, that's my point
Hate never comes from above 😅
Yup next to no payload, can never tow or have it's full payload at the same time. Very questionable fuel usage. Reliable gearbox?? Please.. many more things to list haha
Bring back the basic build that mush watchers of your videos can actually relate to..
Lots of Fuel to carry as a tourer....
smashed them side steps flat on their first hit?
Welcome to the USA..
How did you mount the ipad in the cab Jase? I see it is a RAM mount but would love to see more details on exactly how you did it.
Feels like I'm losing my dad that's got all the knowledge to share, but I am 59. Miss the grumpy and inpatient motor mechanic when it come to Woody's questions, ya make a good team..
I guarantee they will not show the breakdowns they encounter when they take them out bush.
Should have moved the ecu the shit they get bogged in...
I'm here to watch the yank-tank lurch from bog to bog across the Continent.
What do you reckon it weights? 5 Tonnes?
Seen plenty of toyota break downs
@@paulmcintosh5589 Yes, but the Toyota's made it out there to break down.
This Whale has to make it to the end of the bitumen first.
Would you still make the guarantee if there was actual risk of a real world cost? Would you bet $1000, your "rig", your house? Or is it a keyboard warrior guarantee?
I see from a few of the comments a bit of negative feed back. Beaning of age there was negative stuff when Toyota hit the market back in the day, would you bag a Landcruiser now? Always enjoy your adventures guys, keep up the interesting content. PS yes I would love that truck as most would what a weapon.
Are you joking? A huge amount of people still get landcruisers shit and always will. True alot of it is out of jealousy but still.
If you looked in to the yank Ute's they really are not Ute's but over sized wagons when it comes to carrying capability. And reliability ehh.....please.
Does this mean these guys will endorse anything that pays $$
Exactly
Jason, Australians answer to Xzibit 🙂
Every one bagging this video doesn’t have money like this man😂
Oh to have unlimited access to money and sponsorship deals, banging on the wanting promotion and exposure of there wonderful products that most realistic people put 2nd or 3rd to food, rent, or mortgages...
Just remember it's more that likely that you're core followers & supporters couldn't even a 2020 78 series.. I run a 96 lux surf.
Well. U got yaself a beast. Now we'll all see how she's goin 2 rumble... Woop Woop can't w8 2 see it now!!!!!!
Love the smile on your face , like a kid in a candy shop. Awesome build .
Oh man, that things going to be a nightmare. Have fun with the electric steering rack
Most Utes have electric steering now?
Can we have a look at the under side, before you get any mud on it? 😂 Yes, I've seen the aftermath of the roll over. Bad luck, hope you can build another truck and show us some of the awesome country we have here in Australia. All the best fellas.
Do I detect another vote of confidence in the V6 LandCruiser 300 engine?
Get the Computer Tuned! Will give you more performance than the Exhaust & Intake together!
Another super amazing built as usual, love Jase builds of different vehicle each year for each season. DREAM RIGS
Are those converted from left-hand drive to RHD in Australia?
Yes
If its jase and simon certificated... its a great off road vehicle in my opinion 👍👍
damn this thing is beautiful haha
How many days would I get on 400 amps on 75lt fridge
interesting on how far it can take you for the weight of the vehicle and the amount of fuel it will chew, can you put some stats up?
