I think 7+7 is the best 1-2 punch with spirits and soda. I also tend to think daily sippers are closer to what a cheap mixer would be. I can sip on OF86 or Four Roses neat or on the rocks at any time and I would think they would also work as mixers. This was a good video but your budget is higher than mine and your availability is much better as well.
My list: Daily drinker: Cooper's craft 100 Impress your guests: Fiddler Georgia Heartwood cask strength Cheap mixer: Wild Turkey 101 Something great: Wild Turkey Decades Special occasion: I have to completely agree with the Heaven Hill 17-year . I've never owned a bottle and I've only ever had to pour but they were the greatest pours I've ever tasted!
I have a number of “primer” bourbons I use before trying unopened ones in my collection. Early Times BIB, Buffalo Trace, Cooper’s Craft 100, OGD 114, and Evan Williams 1783. Cheers. 🥃
I have all these bottles and they are excellent. Hh17 and WLW and some of my favorites. My cigar blend tobacconist blend I may have cried when I finished it
I appreciate you guys watching the channel but on my daily rotation shelf I keep 1920,Rare Breed and Sagamore cask Strength in my rotation. It has been like that for years. Don't get me wrong I also keep lower proof bottles but I definitely love my a 112-116 proof.
Only thing I'm swapping is the heavin hills for parkers cause well.... I can't get my hands on those in the north east but who the heck blames you if I could I would boys!
My current 1920 I almost dumped. It opened up and is decent now. I’ll buy another bottle after this one to give it another shot…I mean my bar is a speakeasy theme…
I just watched the video from 2021 or 2, and i dont think theres wrong answers because taste is so objective. I know for me: elijah craig barrel proof would be my end of the week dram. But i relate closer to your list this time around.
What's reddit? So, 5, they say? I have hundreds, still seems minimal. I have Weller Antique, Knob Creek, Evan Williams Single Barrel, Woodford, Wild Turkey RB, and more, all from the late 1990s. But the bulk of the newer collection is Old Forester Whiskey Row, 1920 especially. I actually have more Single malts and Bourbons.
HH17 and WLW drink special. I put the HH17 against the 2020 GTS twice with a few buddies and the GTS honestly smokes it. Just acquired the WHH15, and Parker’s so am excited to compare it!
Me and a buddy did the same thing with the heaven hill 17 and old Rip van Winkle 10 year, and we preferred the old Rip van Winkle 10 year overall, although the heaven hill 17 was more unique and interesting

1920 is the best on the shelf bourbon under 60... crazy good and under appreciated

Nice list. I also picked 1920 as my daily. Probably wouldn’t mix it, but you could legitimately pick it for every other category. Cheers guys!!!

Definitely agree with the HH17.
I have a small batch William heaven hill 15 from like 5 years ago. It’s so so good
The cheap Four Roses makes a surprisingly good old fashion.
Had an incredible old fashion at bar and it was the 🌹🌹🌹🌹
I like it as a cheap inoffensive whiskey too.
Great choices. I would choose a cheap rye mixer like baby Saz, but I already like a rye with a cocktail but not with a coke haha.
I have all these bottles and they are excellent. Hh17 and WLW and some of my favorites. My cigar blend tobacconist blend I may have cried when I finished it
I’d have a hard time calling a $60 bottle at 115 proof a “daily drinker.” Maybe the “Friday Night Pour.”
I don’t get why bourbon channels do that either

Yea I said that too when I first got into whiskey. Now I daily drink $60 bottles.
my daily’s are 1910, rare breed and eagle rare. i usually throw bakers 7 in there too. can find all of these everyday. also double oaked woodford.
My daily’s are 1910, rare breed and Penelope architect. I do like the occasion BT or Elijah Craig small batch but the first three are hard to beat.

Dr Pepper over Coke every day as a soda, as a mixer Coke is still the GOAT
How much is the Wild Turkey 12 at Neat?
I think between 150-200.

Pretty high end list but I dig it
Bourbon channel slinging Cereal?! Miss me with that one fellas
Every time I've seen EH SB in stores it's 200+. The Old Carter, there's one in a store near me for 400 lol

Coke is ONLY good with Jack! 😊 IJS
Jack, Ginger ale, and lime is the real hitter.
You both are insane. I would love to have the ability to buy any of these. Must be nice to be able to buy these.
We are lucky to live where we live.
I agree coke is goat. Follwed by dr pepper
According to Reddit? Isn’t Reddit the younger, dumber brother of Twitter?
YOU guys only need 5. 🤥 Time to ship a few over to me in GA. 😂 I need way more than 5! I’m holding my breath! 😜
