Opened my Stagg 24C tonight. Amazing bottle. Mouthfeel is great. Lots of drying oak with a strong caramel, leather, and cherry notes at the back of the palate. The finish lasts well over a minute and is filled with cinnamon and baking spices. One of my favorites of the year I’ve gotten to try.
Old Forester 1910, Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Total Wine Store Pick, Pursuit United Rye, Sagamore Double Oaked Rye, Bardstown Disco 12, Green River Rye, Knob Creek 12, Russells Reserve Single Barrel.
The bottles I'm leaning towards lately are ECBP, JDSBBPR, Sagamore ryes, anything double oaked (Crittenden's, WRDO, OF 1910, 13th Colony, etc.), KC SPs, and Stagg. Finally getting some "cool" weather so time for barrel proof bourbons and ryes. Cheers!
Been hitting rare breed (cork broke so trying to polish it off), larceny b524, elijah toasted, 1792 FP and a shortbarrel SiB store pick. Havent cracked the unicorns of this year yet!
I have been stuck on my nashville barrel company single barrel pick from coxs evergreen, the bookers reserves, old overholt 11 year, four roses 11 year OESK barrel proof, and bardstown origin high wheat.
No joke, I was watching the Junkies Badvent right before I watched your video. During their dumpster fire, I killed my bottle of Parkers Heritage 10yr Rye. Excellent bottle. Excellent channel.
Drinking on a Woodinville 8 year special release. The Spirit Walker by Bourbon Junkies, Hard Truth French Oak Harvest Rye Sweet Mash and K. Luke Bourbon Batch 9
I’m also over the whole 1924 cost complaint. I was fully on board at first, but follow the Campari model of pricing, that bottle would have been $200+. I’m fine at $125 now. It’s the unfortunate world of whiskey pricing. Could have been worse.
I recently finished off my ECBP B524. Almost done with a Knob Creek 12 and a Ben Holladay One Barrel. I had to slow down a little on my Redwood Empire Screaming Titan. It’s so good and I can’t find another one… yet. 🤞I’m also searching hard for a Booker’s Reserve.
Bardstown Bourbon Company High Wheat has been a major go-to of late. Other rotational sippers have been WT 70th anniversary, OF 1910, KC9, McKenna, and HH BiB
Eagles Rare ( always in rotation) Benchmark bonded Bardstown high wheat Chattanooga 91 2XO French Oak Hard truth sweet mash bourbon 4 branches Fiddler wheated
Once I got on STILL AUSTIN CASK STRENGTH I can't pull off it to get back on anything else. Not my EH Taylor small batch, not my stagg, not my Russell's Reserve single barrel, not my John J Bowman, not even my Jack SBBP...
Very similar palette, Dave. Been nursing a bottle of 1924 this Fall. Also the BBC Wheater, Green River Full Proof, and C924. Trying to like the James Pepper Cask Strength but do not like it 🤷🏻♂️
I have been trying to save the rest of my 1924 until next years release. Lately its been Elmer T Lee, Early Times BiB and Sagamore DO. I did win the lottery for the new Watershed Nocino release this year so I am waiting for that to show up.
I just picked up an Early Times BIB on Saturday, haven't tried it yet but looking forward to it. Also, congratulations to you and everyone else who enters a Watershed lottery.😂

Being 30 minutes from Freeland MI, it’s tough to not just pick up a bottle of EverNorth every night

Sagamore Cask Strength is always on my shelf. Great great bottle.
I'm actually sipping on a Sagamore store pick right now that is excellent. I tend to stick with store picks in general, tbh.

I’ve been drinking Stagg 22A. Man… it’s just soooo good. 👍
Lost somewhere between Bomberger's, OF 1924, WT 70th, and EH Taylor SB.
Cracked a Rare Breed NCF traveler’s edition for Thanksgiving, Bardstown high wheat, Larceny B524, and a 8yr Driftless Glen rye pick

We haven't sadly.
@@bourbonkingdom Any ways you know of telling if it’s fake or reaching out to the distillery?
