  • SPINAL CORD INJURY LEVELS REVIEW: Simple review of key functional movements by SCI level
In this video I share how approached studying spinal cord injury (SCI) levels for my OT board exam. I hope this is a helpful way to boil down the information and to make it more memorable by combining kinesthetic, visual, and auditory study techniques. Spinal cord injuries can affect motor movements and function drastically and can present in a million different ways; so in this video we look at SCI levels as if someone had a complete spinal cord injury at various levels and we discuss what the key motor movements that a person might be able to retain/regain. Understanding this is going to be key to evaluation, treatment, and adaptive equipment recommendations. Happy studying!
