Elton John is a modern day musical prophet, yeah i said it. SO MANY artists, established and newcomers, could learn so much from his wisdom of both how to develop music as well as handle being a star (he has seen both sides of it!)...the world will be a truly somber place when he is no longer with us, but until that day comes, I will continue to marvel at the gift of having his music and positive impact upon your life as well as mine!!!
After each question Brandon says "Great", basically lets move on xD But he is so nervous its cute
Fella No, he doesn’t! 😆 After reading your comment, I went back and watched it a few times. BF asks about 7 questions and I only caught 1 ‘great.’ It was kind of an awkward ‘great,’ and I might have missed another. But, it’s far from saying it after ever question.
Brandin is not a nervous person. He is awkward. A bit socially awkward,. But beautifull.

Reg always seems like a true musician’s musician. Icon and legend sure but he’s class because he acknowledges who he works with. I like how he speaks about Nigel getting a great drum sound and saying yes, the engineer got the great drum sound and tells us who that is.

I just HATE IT when he downplays his own songs! How come "Oceans Away" or "Home Again" are "toilet break" songs? NO, Sir Elton. I am sorry to disagree, but definitely they are NOT.
+Fernando Noguchi No they are not, but maybe they don't go down so well in big concert arenas, instead of more intimate ones.
+Fernando Noguchi he's joking somewhat. Oceans Away is one of Elton best recent songs and my favorite on The Diving Board. I think Elton jokes about "toilet break" because the songs and album were low key, laid back and beautifully structured strong melody pieces. The Diving Board album as a whole is a beautiful piece of music with strong melody and very artistic, I think.
+Tom Markel you may be right, we can almost never tell when he's talking seriously. I still think he is (evidenced by the fact that the new songs simply vanish from the set list). I *know* he's got, what, 400+ songs and has to select around 25 to play and that most people go to the shows to hear the major hits. But when the tour is about a new album he should highlight the new album. From his interviews, it's absolutely clear that he doesn't expect to hear "Looking Up" on the radio (I'd play it!) but then again it's a display of his most recent work! He should show it! In Paris, the first show had 6 songs out of WCN; the third had only 5. Pity. WCN is a great rocking album and "Looking Up", as he himself pointed out, is a 2015 version of "I'm Still Standing". Playing both back-to-back would make a lot of sense! Anyway, this is just rethorical - I love his work and will continue to follow him, despite not hearing everything (the 400+ songs) I'd like to hear in a concert! :-)
