I have a beautiful 100% linen Hawaiian shirt from a company called Freenote Cloth and man it feels like wearing almost nothing. As a person unfamiliar with linen garments it really surprised me when i put it on.
I think that Loro Piana offers great options as a fabric as opposed to their ready-to-wear options. Having garments made with LP fabrics offers far more value than most of the items created by Loro Piana themselves. I would love to see further explorations of fabric from Fox Brothers, Holland & Sherry, etc in the future
The only item "worth" buying is LP's made-in-house cashmere jumpers, because they save the best cashmere yarns for their own label. The fabric supplying business exists as a whole another division, and even though yarns are marketed as LP, the quality is remarkably inferior to the yarn reserved for their own house brand jumpers.

Don't think I'd ever buy a Loro Piano branded coat. You can get a bespoke tailor on Savile Row to make you that 30k overcoat for less than half and end up with a better fit. I have a couple of jackets from Huntsman with Loro Piana fabric:, a lightweight seersucker for summer that's surprisingly durable and very breathable and a rust colored tweed jacket with an action back. Well, LP has it's own style. And we have to respect that. The house style is contemporary classic and reflects modern gentleman very much, in my opinion anyway. Quality is top notch and so is the price. What I personally appreciate the most is: no evident branding, extremely comfortable, relaxed and up to date style. One thing to mention separately is understatement. You can easily wear $20K on you and most will hardly notice. Price/quality ration? Well, this is a luxury brand. If we're not talking about exclusive fabrics like vicuna, prices are hardly higher than those of other luxury brands. But if one is looking for a much better price to quality ration there are many premium brands offering 80-90% of the quality for 40-50% of the price.
@@lofasz3328 in terms of longevity there’s more to it. It depends on multiple factors. And I believe the configuration of yarn depends from model to model. I'd have to check again if it's unlined but it does say that the fabric is performance. It features patch pockets therefore making it more casual. Thanks for the content as always.
In many ways, weave is more important than material when it comes to breathability. The 20% linen makes me think that the weave is likely more open, and therefore good for warmer weather, but the easy way to check is to hold it up to the light, put your hand behind the fabric, and see if you can see your hand. The more "sheer" the fabric, the more open the weave, and therefore the more breathable. Obviously if it's unlined that will also make it more breathable.

Need a worth it episode of Jacob Cohen jeans👍 I love them but do Gentleman Gazette?
Well 😅Vidalia onions are only grown in a area of Georgia but the onions don’t cost a fortune to buy them .The term a fool is born every minute comes to mind as I am watching this .
To spend thousands on something that’s not bespoke is tough to wrap my head around.
Please make kiton and ermenegildo zegna.
It’s worth it for me because I only buy Loro Piana on the secondary market. $80 To $120 for a hardly used LP cashmere sports jacket. Yeah, all day.
my dad is a big fan of Loro Piana, Brunello, Isaia, Lardini, Kiton, but swears by Canali above all
Fabrics? Pretty good value if you're willing to get it custom made.
Off the rack? They're laughably poor value. With the prices they charge, you can use their own fabric, get it custom made/fitted for substantially cheaper.
very good quality, but overpriced for what it is at full retail - in line with the LVMH luxury positioning
So who’s better overall, Zegna or Piana?
Zegna for suits, Loro Piana for everything else.
I’m sorry but no clothing garment is worth upwards of $10k! Maybe $1,000. But anything more than that is overpriced for sure.
do a review of the brand "The Row"
Since when does LP manufacture in-House? I know companies that produce for them. Basically garments are made in house.
Jackets? No
Shoes? No
Are these 100% hand made without modern machines ? Dont think so just another factory
I'm sure that these are beautiful, but in a choice between buying a sweater, and paying rent, I'll pass on the goat silk
I would like to see Salvatore Ferragamo for leather
