I am loving all the vacay vlogs, Joel. Dont let the haters get you down. The long time viewers wanna hear the chatting and watch the fun interactions just as much as the beautiful destination views. Also, I wouldn't worry about the repetitive parts, because if we were on that cruise ourselves, it would be the same for us so it's just sharing the honest experience.

Not the most scenic but something about the contrast with the hustle of getting on and waiting for baggage and maybe I just need what you described, to sleep soundly and wake up to somewhere different and beautiful with all it's promise of a relaxing fun time. Great travel vlog so far. It’s got that you’re taking it easy activity wise. My husband and I would book land activities that started way too early and be gone all day and arrive back in time for the ship to sail. We would get cleaned up, have dinner then a show and hang out at the casino. FYI the 1st ship you saw in port was a MSC ship which is the company I work for and the other one you saw in St Kitts was a Costa Line vessel. BTW nice haircut 👍😜😎

The water will more than likely come from the sea and be cleaned through filters into fresh water. The sewerage will be pumped out every time the ship docks as I would imagine it's probably illegal to dump it in the sea. I'd be interested in how much diesel is stored onboard and how much it costs to fuel a skip of that size.

I really enjoyed that. I live in Hawaii and the islands here are much different looking as we have very high mountains. I thought Tortola and St Kitts looked beautiful and I have always been curious about the BVI . I suppose since you like city life with your beaches, you would like Waikiki. Have you ever been there? Most people who live here don't like Waikiki as too noisy, too crowded, and not the "real Hawaii," which doesn't really exist anymore and probably never did once Hawaii was colonized. Come visit!
I feel the cruises to be so wasteful, unethical and unsustainable that I cannot understand why someone - with even a slightest idea of what the world is really going through these days - would go to one. Until I see this view 9:48 Cruises are an old school type of travel but in their current form they are just plain wrong. I lived my childhood with only type of holiday was one-night cruises between Finland and Sweden, and they were practically my parents getting totally hammered and me and my brothers gallivanting around the ship for the whole 24 hours without any supervision, overeating at buffet, playing slot machines and buying as much cheap candy as possible. As an adult I have been to couple of these overnight Baltic Sea cruises and they continue to disgust me with the wastefulness, drunkenness and idiocy they portray. And still, as I can understand the idea and intrigue, I cannot fathom why would a person with any knowledge about the state of the world go to a cruise, whether for one night at government subsidised liner at Baltic Sea or a billionaire-operated luxury ship at the Gulf of Mexico. Well, I sincerely hope you had a lovely time and got to relax and unwind as the new year has really begun. The scenery, clear waters and sun would be lovely to experience once in a lifetime ❤

Is the water really warm?
It was quite cold initially but then felt warm after a few minutes!

I feel the cruises to be so wasteful, unethical and unsustainable that I cannot understand why someone - with even a slightest idea of what the world is really going through these days - would go to one. Until I see this view 9:48
Cruises are an old school type of travel but in their current form they are just plain wrong. I lived my childhood with only type of holiday was one-night cruises between Finland and Sweden, and they were practically my parents getting totally hammered and me and my brothers gallivanting around the ship for the whole 24 hours without any supervision, overeating at buffet, playing slot machines and buying as much cheap candy as possible. As an adult I have been to couple of these overnight Baltic Sea cruises and they continue to disgust me with the wastefulness, drunkenness and idiocy they portray.
And still, as I can understand the idea and intrigue, I cannot fathom why would a person with any knowledge about the state of the world go to a cruise, whether for one night at government subsidised liner at Baltic Sea or a billionaire-operated luxury ship at the Gulf of Mexico.
Well, I sincerely hope you had a lovely time and got to relax and unwind as the new year has really begun. The scenery, clear waters and sun would be lovely to experience once in a lifetime ❤
