This story concerns a cop investigating a serial killer. She enlists the aid of a former professor and writer, who is an expert on serial killers but suffers from agoraphobia.
TWO STARS: One thing about this movie that really irks me is that it perpetuates the Hollywood sensationalized MYTH that "most serial killers are white." This IS simply UNTRUE. Samuel Little, 78, is incarcerated in a Texas prison. Little is African-American and has confessed to 90 murders across the U.S. Little is considered to be perhaps the most prolific American serial killer. Serial Killers come in EVERY gender, ethnicity, and even pre-pubescent, with the world's youngest, Amardeep Sada, an Indian boy, killed 3 people, all children. This is typical Hollyweird lying to the public to push a so-called "tolerance" agenda, which is really about generating hatred of whites (white men, in particular.)
But the number stay pretty much the same 80% or more are White, it's not a myth just math. Yes people of all racist are serial killers and yes Hollywood sensationalizes it. It like all pimps in the movies are black simply not true.
In a weird contradiction, you're woke- pointing to case of one black man's confession of the murders he says he committed. But out of all the known *serial killers* very few of them are not white men.
