I will say this, Reeve Carney was one of those people that made “Hadestown” along with Patrick Page and so many iconic actors in this show. God bless Reeve, and we’ll miss you! ❤
I’m so choked up. I love Reeve, and he is always missed. So happy that the original cast returned for his final bow. They truly are a family. Eva and Reeve are blessed to have found each other.
Crying my eyes out. This was so beautiful. I was there last week, in the midst of my own tour. I had one free night and there wasn't a chance in Hadestown that I would have missed seeing Reeve one more time.
I'm sorry to be that guy but the original cast was just absolutely perfect and the new cast members can't really match that chemistry. They're all great of course but I always miss a little something magical that the orignal cast had. ❤️ Bless them all. ❤️ - A frustrated european who never got to see the original cast and is going to the West end production in February 😊
orpheus turns around, succumbs to his doubts, so that we can learn from him and keep doubt from coming in. at least that's how i interpreted reeve's interpretation
The fact that the new cast members like Philip and Sofea were crying because he was leaving the show shows how much of a pure and lovely man Reeve is
After all this time…
The story turns out okay.
He took her home ❤

This is the only ending to Hadestown I will accept.
Andre DeShields could recite the periodic table and I would listen, enraptured.
take her home with you 😭😭😭❤
The whole OG cast is a gift to us all. ❤
That was the most perfect send off.
His voice really felt like it was from a greek ancient story he was perfect for that role

Replay button of the decade!!!!
I don't know anything about this show but stumbled onto this. Color me interested.
i totally do not understand his comment about orpheus turning around so you do not have to. am i just really dumb?
I interpret it as saying everyone has doubts, but you don't have to succumb to them like Orpheus did/does.
I think it could mean that we could learn from Orpheus. From his example, model and his mistakes
