Today I'm taking a close look at the new Emily Nendoroid doll from the new series of Nendoroid dolls. She's part of the first set of nendoroid dolls with the more articulated and easy to dress nendoroid bodies. Stay tuned until the end where I compare the nendoroid doll body to the Cupoche doll body.

I think that Emily and Ryo is more for people that have other nendoroids, to be abel to swap heads to make your fav character more poses.
The nendoroid doll bodies are exactly for that, but Emily and Ryo are actually GSC own characters, they did scale figures of them as well.
I know some people did buy Emily and Ryo dolls to switch out heads for other characters but that was before GSC had announced that they were re-releasing the doll bodies again. Which is why I think you can still find them, since instead of buying an entire doll most people just want the doll bodies themselves.

If you just want Emily for her body I do believe Amazon still has doll bodies up for preorder (via Amazon warehouse so they’re legit) they come out in September, but better than paying after market prices for one.

Thanks for sharing the review. I unboxed my Emily and Ryo about few months ago. The body quality is really great. Cannot compare with Cupoche or Obitsu 11. By the way, clothes quality is really rubbish, I was really disappointed because Emily's shoe strap is broken after 3-4 times of try. I really hope GSC enhance their clothes quality.
Hi!! I’m glad you liked it and I completely agree with you! The outfit was definitely disappointing, and after I got my White Rabbit and Alice last week I was extremely disappointed in the construction of the clothing. I can’t believe the shoe broke on you though! 🤯🤯
After the Red Queen and Mad Hatter I don’t think I will be getting anymore dolls. I bought quite a few nendoroid doll bodies so I’m hoping those will last me, but unless it’s something I’m a huge fan of I won’t bother with the dolls anymore.
She is soo cute and beautiful! Your review was so good. Is her legs like OB11 have? (I'm just thinking can I use OB11's shoes for her)
Wow thank you!! 🙏🏾 I do believe that her feet are a little smaller than the Obitsu 11 dolls, I actually don’t have one yet to compare to but should have one coming in the mail soon. So I will be comparing them as well.

Is it possible to pose Emily lying down? I’m thinking about getting her to take pics of her but i want to take pics of her lying down playing games.
One her stomach playing games yes! On her back you’d have to take of her ponytail or have her sitting up kind of on a pillow but that would totally work!

is there a difference between emily/ryo's and an obitsu body's height?
HEY!! I’m so sorry I’m just now seeing this and yes there’s a HUGE difference with the bodies Obitsu 11 bodies are taller and have way more possibility, only down side is you have to modify the neck to fit nendos.
