I only discovered Joe B via JimmyB. Joe is now one of my favourite guitarists, he and whole band is brrrillianttt. So we’ve had, Joe and Jimmy, and u probably know Jimmy’s son Jackie on drums in Stone Cold. Have u heard Mahalia Barnes singing Riding With The Kings with Joe Bonamssa and his brilliant band. Bonamassa + Band + Barnes family = ✔️😊
Man how good is this, love your reaction mate and the joy on your face. You don’t need the words to describe it we can see how you felt listening to it. This is what music is all about not the crap that’s on main stream radio these days
We all knew you would love this one. Love your reaction. We knew how you felt. You couldn't hide it if you tried. Deep Purple was one of my favorites back in the 70's. Along with Uriah Heap, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, etc, & a host of other great bands. I still play the old vinyl albums to this day.
Let's also not leave out the great Brad Whitford from Aerosmith just chilling back there on rhythm guitar. It was an adrenaline rushing performance by a bunch of super A grade artists. Thanks for the review mate I've seen it many times before and never get sick of it. I think you're ready for Cold Chisels' Incredible version of Wild Thing. Cheers mate
Yep just love the musician's and jimmy's like cherry on top Always looks like a group of mates just jamming out together Glad you loved it pretty special not easy and know at their best Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍
Even tho the song and performance was absolutely phenomenal, for me, it ran a close second to your reaction…it was almost as good as mine…totally loved it💖
And I love deep purple one of my favorite bands growing up but I will give respect to Jimmy and Joe all day long for this. Well done I just found out that the bass player is from Aerosmith
This was so much fun! It feels good to have fun again with all that's going on in this world today! Going to check out Deep Purple version now! Appreciate your time and effort! 🤠
My thoughts exactly Donna make sure to check out the original version if you go to Deep Purple hey good to talk to you hope you're having a great day in Texas we are having a beautiful warm day in Missouri. Be well
Might as well give them all credit. The Bass player is the late great Micheal Rhodes, and the Drummer is Aton Fig he was the drummer for David Letterman.
2 or 3 times during this song Joe traded off lead with Brad Whitford and took the rhythm line. You can hear the difference in sound. And Michael Rhodes, the bass player, just passed away.
I'm exhausted just sitting here watching you and the band do their 'thang' lol. Just so darn good.....First time seeing this little gem. I just might have to catch my breath too and have a second look...lol Great reaction as per usual Jeff.
So good! I have watched it a few times now. Yes I had to catch my breath too justlinsu. I think I will pull it up again right now. It is early morning here, great way to start the day., Be well and Gday
That put me into a proper Friday mood. Even though, when you're retired, every day is Friday, or, better yet, Saturday. You know, you mentioned how much you liked chatting with your followers. Some reactors do a live stream chat every once in a while, where people have the opportunity to chat, in real time, with you and others who follow your channel. I don't know if you'd be interested in doing something like that, and I don't have the slightest idea how you set it up. You could set it up for however often you want, once a week, once a month or whenever you darn well feel like it (as long as we get enough notice that one is coming up)
I had not even considered anything like that but that really is a great idea I would have to figure out the perfect time because I don't want to do it when so many of my new friends are asleep in the dead of night
Did you recognize the other guitar player? He is the rhythm player for Aerosmith. His name is Brad Whitford. The Hammond organ player is Arlan Scheierbaum!
Killer band performance. Jimmy's vocals perfect. They totally smashed this. (Same studio btw it looks as Jimmy and Joe do 'Stone Cold Sober') BTW I you haven't already done so, look up Joe with Beth Hart on Nutbush City Limits (not kidding) then them both of them again on "I'd Rather Be Blind. Then make sure the kids aren't watching when you watch her R rated live performance of Zep's 'Whole Lotta Love' which is jaw dropping
Very cool.. I see you got your hat back after "The Warning" blew it off.. so I'd like to introduce you to another young family, Brothers & Sisters... called "LILIAC" (Lil-lee-ack) it means Bat in Romanian (vampire style) I don't have any links... But this band is independent. Go to Liliac band on RUclips. Do a DIO CANCER FUND TRIBUTE COVER OF "THE LAST IN LINE" AND THEIR ORIGINAL "OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR " HOTHING"shot in their living room.. the sister " MELODY" Has a voice like you've never heard from a teenager.. 17 maybe 18 for these songs.. Hold on to that hat again. It's time to rock.. the fans are called "FANG'S" 🤟🎶☮️
THAT was solid, Joe and Jimmy are a combo to be reckoned with.
Loved Deep Purple, they would be proud of this version. Rocked it!!!
This was one of my very first albums I bought back in high school. I darn near wore it out.

When I was a boy. This is sooo good!
You are 100% correct...when it comes to rock keys/organ...what I always say is, "Lord is God". Cheers!
Man I miss that guy. I just loved that music and his style growing up.
So good ain’t it. Everyone in that room is an excellent musician. Grit session they did there.

The Keyboard player is named Arlan Shirebaum. He is from L.A. He played on several of Joe's tours and the autistic Vienna Oprah House DVDs.
Also you have to watch Barnes & John Farnham together - absolutely phenomenal!
I just happen to have When The War is Over by Barnes and Farnham today
Блестящая интерпретация великого произведения.
Even tho the song and performance was absolutely phenomenal, for me, it ran a close second to your reaction…it was almost as good as mine…totally loved it💖
That was an awesome reaction..love from Aus.✌️❤️

I'm kind of shocked that's all that you wanted to about that video. LOL

You gave me a great idea there I'm going to look into information on how to do that. That could be a lot of fun. Thank you
Try watching Joe and Jimmy Barnes’s daughter Mahalia Barnes!
I have seen a little bit of them together about 6 weeks ago on my channel check it out.
Did you recognize the other guitar player? He is the rhythm player for Aerosmith. His name is Brad Whitford. The Hammond organ player is Arlan Scheierbaum!

Think anything Jimmy and Bonamassa do together hold water, in fact holds oceans mate lol
You need the full version, you didn't get the AWESOME beginning.

Yes I will check that out for sure. Thank you. Be well.
A great great cover which I do love. But Blackmore, Lord, Paice, Glover and Gillan can never be bettered, in my opinion. I miss Jon Lord to this day!
No they will never be better I agree but this was damn good rip John Lord I have always been a huge fan and will always be
