    Thankyou..this helped me a lot. You explain it very simple way. Can you please explain how to decide the scale for printing layout and also how to decide the text height?

    • @CADinblack
      @CADinblack  8 лет назад +1

      Hi +Shubhada Zode. Thanks for your appreciation. To set up the scale you can go to your layout tab, and them to the botton-right corner. I explain all the steps to print a drawing in this video: ruclips.net/video/FyYU_kCuBw0/видео.html&index=17&list=PLe_I-JWckL7G_ud-bYa6vrmM-LnFNpPC-
      To choose the text hight, follow this process:
      ruclips.net/video/UKpCFYWK7q4/видео.html
      Click in "single line text"
      Click in a point of the screen. Then you have to insert the text high and the direction. It is a bit tricky at first time. If you watch the explanation in the video you may understand.

    Whenever I try to draw a line from an intersection or from the end of another line, I don't get the endpoints showing in green symbol, even though my ortho is on and osnap everything is tick marked. From the same endpoint which is not showing I'm not able to draw another line too. Some lines dimensions can be marked some can't, how?
    What to do?

    Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me with a dimensioning problem. I am making a drawing that needs tolerances. when I add them they are to small. I looked in the ribbon but it has nothing for sizing. I tried highlighting and formation. When I do that and change text height it works for my primary number. Not the tolerances. I then try the same for tolerances change the text height from 1 to 3 but it still remains 1.

  • @DIABULUSKIRA

    Last time i used autocad was about 6-7 years ago and i forgot most of commands. I find this tutorial very useful. But i have one question, it may be stupid, but i don't remember if it is possible to do in Autocad. When i draw whole room and i want to change distance or lenght of some lines, is it possible somehow to change that dimension or i need to draw everything again? If you didn't understand what i want here is example. In SolidWorks when you model a hole you enter value of 100mm and later if you want to change ot to 80mm you just dpuble click at dimension line and enter a new value and hole is smaller. Is it possible to do the same thing in autocad? Thanks in advance. :)

    • @Kalanchoe1
      @Kalanchoe1 6 лет назад

      I'm just learning at school right now and if I understand what you want to do, then just highlight and right click on the line you want, click on properties and change the coordinates to what you want. Or use a stretch function on the line. I'm not sure what you find difficult. ive never had a reason to completly redo and Acad drawing.

    I have a problem. My drawing is very small. When using the tool line for example I type length of 10 lines can not be seen on the area. I've got a lot of to zoom to found how small is. I changed UNITS and nothing. Can you help me ?What should I doing ? Thanks in advance.

    • @CADinblack
      @CADinblack  8 лет назад

      Hi +Wall Company. It is normal that the drawing is small and you have to zoom it to see. AutoCAD is adimensional, that means that this 10 can be what you want. For example, you assume this "10" means 10mm, 10m or 10km. If you change the units nothing changes because it is only used for exporting an object from another drawing. Conclusion: There is no problem that the drawing is small, you can zoom it to a size that you can see everything what you do.

    • @CADinblack
      @CADinblack  8 лет назад

      After, to print or save it as a PDF, you have to adjust the layout for what you want to appear in your work. But this you will learn after. Did my explanation help you? Don't hesitate asking again:)
