Still love the Lions. You have a great owner and I hope all the best to the Lions. Being away from Vancouver for 40 years

Amar is leaving no stone unturned in trying to promote the Lions and the CFL. He's like a modern-day Murray Pezim!

Amar is a nice guy for taking over the Lions however there are some things he’s not saying.
    1. The CFL prior to COVID was losing 20 million a year. We know that Edmonton Elks lost almost 4 million in 2023 and Saskatchewan lost over a million. The CFL itself is a money pit but it has lasted since 1956.
The CFL has had 3 different attempts in Ottawa, 2 in Montreal. Calgary had a “save the team campaign in the 80s and Saskatchewan had a telethon to keep it going. Several teams have gone bankrupt.
    3. The USFL had 8 teams playing in 4 cities. The XFL had all 8 teams playing in their cities. Their biggest mistake is that all teams practice in Arlington.
    4. The UFL is a merger of 4 teams from each the UFL and XFL and they all practice in Arlington and play in their home cities. Yes, this is a mistake.
    5. The UFL has some low crowds but so does the CFL. Toronto got 12k to their game in week 1. Birmingham had 10k in their playoff game. Highest crowd I. St Louis was 40k. Highest crowd for BC will be 50k.
    6. The TV ratings for the UFL are double what the CFL gets for regular season games. Equal for Conference championships. The CFL gets more for Grey Cups.
