I personally feel people should from time to time get in touch with their emotions. Who cares if you cry. We all reach breaking points. We are human not a machine.
That song makes me think about my Grandpa he was from Czechoslovakia came to America when he was 14 years old by himself. So he you could say talked fuuny spoke English but had the accent. Had a peach stand and left a old truck when passed a way. And whenwe went to his farm I followed him around he was then and still my hero
This one ripped at my heart strings because I've lost so many family members and friends. I'd give anything to have one last cookout with both Mom & Dad, my Grandmother, my two brothers and so many others that left this earth for a better place. When Grandpa rolled the window down and then started peeling the peach...screen got blurry.
I just want to say after watching several of your reaction videos it's very refreshing to see a man feel music as deeply as you do... I hate when men pretend they don't have emotions!!!!
"id hug all three of those girls we lost from the class of '99." man this line hit different, i lost two really close friends 9 months ago to suicide. and they were to graduate 2019 with me and man i miss them so frickin much!!
Hey Kaytlynn my condolences to you and your friends family. My story will relate somewhat. The writer of this song is a friend of mine from high school, this line was originally written to say the class of “89”. It’s a tribute to 3 girls our school lost on their spring break trip to Panama City. It was a boating accident. Just know that times now aren’t much different than they were back then. Faith, hope and love will always bring people together in times of trouble.
I feel you, Kaytlynn. My middle school best freind's bf committed suicide accidentally (choking game) the summer of 2013. Then in 2017 a really nice and outgoing classmate passed away suddenly. Still can't believe they're gone, but I know they're at peace.
Makes me think of my Daddy... he passed exactly 2 months after my daughter was born. Try Cole Swindell, "You Should Be Here." Also, it doesn't come out until tomorrow but DEFINITELY "Drowning" by Chris Young
My grandpa. Never hung out with him until the week before he died. We were playing clue and we had so much fun. He loved to watch cartoons with me for that week. I miss him.
First time I heard that song, I was driving. I had to stop on the side of the road. I cry easily, so this song had me bawling and sobbing. I'd give anything to see my dad again...
Holes in the Floor of Heaven would be an awesome song for you to listen to. Even if you just listened to it on your own. 💖 makes me think of my grandma.
Be blessed that he got to meet her. My grandmother and my grandfather passed away before my children were born. I miss them everyday and wish more than anything that my kids got to meet them. God bless!
“You gotta check on your strong friends”. Yes. I am that friend. I had someone check in. Your friend that put that message in your ear was speaking for universal truth and spirit. I respect you for putting the message out. We are all connected no matter how the message comes to us. I enjoy your energy and honesty for life.
My mom passed away on January 31st of this year. My dad passed when I was 9, my best friend committed suicide when I was 27. This song just makes you think about what you would say if you could see them again and if they'd be proud. I love your commentary on the people and things this song reminds you of.
Makes me think of my sweet baby brother. He was 4 1/2 when he passed and I was 20, he’d come running from wherever he was when he heard my voice. I could use one of his running hugs.
*Walker Hayes - The Comedian.* It describes, almost word for word, what you were trying to explain about the funny guy in class, who was fighting their own battles, and made others laugh, at their own expense.
Sometimes people cover up their own pain with jokes and laughter. I know I've been there more than I'd like to admit, but there it is. Great song, but yeah....I'm right there with you with the tears. Thank you!
This song reminds me of my uncle. He was my favorite over anyone else. We had the best bond and connection of anyone in the family. He died a year ago in May. What i wouldn't do or sell to see him again

I cry to this song because it make me think of my dad who passed in 1992 when I was 16. My children were born in 2000 and 2003. I know he would hug them so tight they would crap their pants. And my dog we got when I was 5 and died when I was 24. I would sit outside at my grandmother's in porch with him because she wouldn't let dogs in. I balled like a brother had died.

I was 4 when my Daddy died, 6 when my Daddy-Jim(grand dad) passed, 22 when Mama-Jim passed who instead of a grandmother she was more like my mom. In 2016 I lost my son and would have never of survived that year if it was not for my little brother being my rock, my shoulder, my comic relief and most importantly my phone call at 3am, because only he and 3am knew all my secrets!
