How was the exterior trimmed out where the flanges were installed to the rough framing? This is important I want know how the exterior flanges are covered as I see this in many videos as I’m planning on ordering these windows for my new construction covered deck with a small knee wall which the walls are wide open for either mulled units or I can add posts for smaller units. Need to decide to size windows to finished openings or rough framing to cover flanges after.

You will see a lot of this in our videos as our portion of the project only involves getting the windows installed. On new construction projects the home builder will handle the interior and exterior finishes after we are gone. In this case the will be taping over the window flanges with flashing tape and then adding LP Smartside exterior trim and siding. Essentially treating these like a regular window in the finishing details even though this is just a 3-season porch.
