Kevin Conroy was THE voice any Batman deserves.
This really nails the old timey serial feel that BTAS was drawn from and I love it.
Imagine a full Batman movie with that atmosphere.
IMO, Tim Burton gave us that film almost 30 years ago.

For a fan based short, this was very faithful to the original animated opening. You can tell the love and dedication that went into making this as close to the original as possible. Imagine if they had a larger budget! 🇵🇷🌎☺️

That suit just doesn't translate to live-action. Especially without the magical cowl eyes that could change expression.

How the last Batman ever saw the light of day, and how this still isn't a full length movie are both equally troubling questions. Wonderful work, gentlemen. 👏
What's so cool about this is who directly translating the cartoon to live action, you really see the classic noir influences and the callbacks to black and white serials from the golden ages of the comic. Fantastic work!
although it is a film fan, is like a dream come true to see my favorite version of all of batman in real image.

I get the feeling the creators drew a lot of inspiration from the Sin City films, the video style and format is strikingly similar and very well done

That was literally one of the best youtube videos ever. Thank you for all of your diligent efforts on our behalf. We tried to make an animated series style fan film with Harley but it is not as faithful as this awesome reproduction here. The only detail I noticed was that batman cartwheeled out instead of doing a dive roll when he assaulted the first thug, which was cool anyways. Awesome lighting, awesome effects, awesome video

"A" for effort for sure! The only thing lacking for the costume. There are great costume makers who make a accurate BTAS suit and cowl with white eyes. The guys shirt lifts when he cartwheels and you can see his belly like Adam West. Would LOVE to see this remade with a better suit!

0:49 makes you think about how implausible the animated shot is. If the foreground hood is supposed to be unconscious, it's hard to imagine his knee being propped up like that.

I applaud the effort, but on the whole, I think this is a good argument for the value of animation. Scenes and characters that are difficult to pull off credibly in live action come to life on the page of an animator.
What an absolute masterpiece. I cannot believe this is my first time watching it.
This could very well be the greatest moment of my life.
