While we are waiting for all the exciting paywares that is surely going to progress, we have PMDG 777 on the horizon and additional A300 enhancements (P&W variants) from iniBuilds, plus Fenix's other A320ceo families and their sharklet-ed variants. Over the horizon are iFly 737MAX, Bluebird 757, iniBuilds A350 & A380 (plus their adopted Synaptics' A220), JustFlight's Fokkers and Avro RJs, and the rest of the freewares that we never know when (especially FBW's A380). If FSS could pull the E-jets through, the only projects still not taken are the A340 and a proper 787, and whatnots like 717 or previous 737s and 747s, and L-1011. Given the popularity and acceptance of this platform, it is natural for the airliner coverage to spread this quick. A lot of real pilots, furloughed or active become simmers during the pandemic, and it kinda helps too.
Completely agree with you mate. The flight simming community hasn't just survived through the pandemic, but actually thrived and flourished. Really excited to see what comes of MSFS 2024 when it eventually launches this year! If you found the video entertaining or informative btw, please do consider subscribing 😉
Inibuilds finished the a300 and a310 pretty quickly, but like a lot of other planes (pmdg 777, Aerosoft a330, etc.), these are coming with it a bit after the release of MSFS 2024
I do agree with you, but that's in large parts because of major subsidies from Microsoft and Asobo themselves, as well as a prior skeleton of those projects already made in X-plane. This is an entirely new endeavour, and though I'm optimistic, I'm cautiously so. If you found the video entertaining or informative btw, please do consider subscribing 😉
Yep! Mentioned it in one of my previous videos here if you haven't checked it out: ruclips.net/video/gwFDDKsFguw/видео.htmlsi=8zG75bMAwZWwfxId Hope they can balance the scope of all projects effectively :) If you found the video entertaining or informative btw, please do consider subscribing 😉
Inibuilds have already said that the A350 will be released in 2024 probably at the end of 2024. The A350 is already 3 years in development. The A380 will most likely release later 2025 or 2026
I truly do hope this is true, but timelines in the add-on development space to tend to fluctuate quite a bit. That being said, if anyone can live up to expectations in my opinion, it's iniBuilds - hope they produce and deliver a solid product! There was lots of speculation regarding a base "secret" airliner project they've been working on for quite some time, but proper development has just begun according to their Discord forums. This means that internal teams, coders, testers, designers and so on would have been assigned to the project quite recently, with everything mapped out at this point - with only the work to be done! Let's hope we get it ASAP! If you found the video entertaining or informative btw, please do consider subscribing 😉

Great video, the new aircraft look like they will be a great addition. One question, I’m getting more into MSFS 2020, flew X back in the day. What’s the best modeled airliner right now available? Brought the PMDG 737-800 and it seems very detailed, but just wondering if I am missing something better since there are so many options.
Cheers mate! Thanks for watching! Inbuilds probably need to slow down a bit and focus on optimization. I have a fast computer, but their products are much heavier for me than even the Fenix. Nobody has a valid excuse for not optimizing performance when the Fenix figured it out.
This is actually a very valid point, and I completely agree with you.
