    Hey! Just yesterday I was thinking of the progress on your model amd was wondering when it would be completed. Your passion behind every inch of this project is astonishing. So many hours twisting, bashing and sanding ontop of extensively thorough research and now almost 4 years into the project, you can finally say its finished. This tutorial has been packed full of useful information so that if one wants to try it out for themselves they can. You went above and beyond showing all the work you put in within those videos and I applaud you for sticking with it all. In September it'll be 6 years since you listed your previous model that you sold on eBay and I remember watching that video of you showing it off and I was blown away with what one guy with the proper tools, and knowledge can do. You improve with each project you work on and it shows wonderfully in this new model you made. Projects can be lengthy and a lot happens in someones life in 4 years. Through the good and the bad, I hope your satisfied with everything you've done. This was a milestone for you and its been an absolute pleasure being a part of it. Now go rest your hands if only for a moment before you start something else! Knowing you, you've probably already begun ^ ^

    One would hope your masterpiece ends up in a museum or other place of public display. Regardless, you deserve a pretty penny (much more than $1K) for your magnificent work. Many thanks for all this.

    Beautiful work, CJ! Thank you for taking your time and effort for making all these valuable tutorial videos from start to finish. I've learned a lot from you when I was building the wreck diorama of my own in 1/360 scale way back in Part 1 to 25, and I went off to finish the stern section ahead of these later videos. What's next in your future Titanic related builds? Perhaps a 'Raise the Titanic' movie version of the wreck build?

      Thanks for the encouraging words! Now that we have a more clear understanding of the wreck's current condition I'm considering an updated model. The stern especially is so deteriorated that only the poop deck and engines are relatively intact, while everything in between has collapsed almost completely flat...

      @@cjholmes4329 that is true, only the upper most parts of the wreckage in the pancaked middle still recognizable like the 2nd Class Entryway, the mast and the lone cargo crane on the starboard side aft.

      Aaron, I have seen you in the comments throughout the entire process of this model. I honestly wish you'd end up with this model for as long as you've been around just like many of us. It's been almost 4 years since he started this project and it's amazing to see the finished results. Do you have a proper space to display the model if you ended up getting it, and also I'm curious on what sparked your interest in The Titanic. Its story has stuck with me since I was a kid :)

    Just noticed the 'Big Piece' resting in the port side corner of the stern wreckage. Lovely detail. There are three stoves resting at the end of the poop deck. Will you add them later on the wreck model?

    Looks great! I’ve been wanting to ask you about the stylus for the Amberola you repaired. Could you please tell me what shape and size you used? Is it still working well? Thanks

    • @cjholmes4329
      @cjholmes4329  8 месяцев назад

      Thanks for the kind words! As for the Amberola I don't recall exactly the dimensions of the stylus but I'll try to get the data on it. I've heard a lot of gloom and doom if the exact original Edison dimensions aren't adhered to; all I know is that the sonic fidelity is amazing with no discernable damage to the cylinders. I just played "Red Wing" before responding to you and it sounds sweet and loud after several repetitions over the years.

    • @Robin-h3f
      @Robin-h3f 8 месяцев назад

      Thanks for the reply! I got an Amberola 30 in poor shape and some cylinders that aren’t great either. New stylus is around $150 and not worth it for this machine. I would appreciate any info on what modern stylus could work. Many thanks

    Not accurate to how the wreck is now. You obviously replicated how the bow looked when it was discovered in 1985. And the stern is based on the drawing of ken marshall
