My problem is that the girl I like knows i like her but she seem to start an eye contact and quickly swings her head as if she is annoyed . She doesn't look at me alot when I am the centre of attraction. She never drops her guard around me...

I remember my experience with a woman that I liked but who did not reciprocate my feelings. Most of the signs you mentioned were very accurate. She tried to evade my invitations not once, but every time I attempted, she had a reason not to come with me. But she also gave mixed signals, which was confusing. So, I still tried my best, but eventually, I just felt sorry for myself. It felt like nothing but disrespect to myself if I continued to chase a woman who was not interested in me and who didn't value my time. So, I decided to stop and move on.
Three months later, I can say that I already moved on and laughed at myself when thinking about my actions before. I noticed that this woman still gives me mixed signals, but I don't give her hope that I will go back to what I did before. If she realizes my worth now, then too bad for her because I'm done. She's not worth my time anymore.
