Only just recently found out about this band. Don't know where i have been hanging out for the last couple of years but anyway have today gone and ordered the CD. So good this!
Wow! I have always like Corey Glover's voice--very soulful and expressive. And his influence and style to work against the fire of George Lynch's Guitar God talent creates an awesome collection of music that soothes the soul. It's not rock, it's not grunge, it's not metal, it's not blues; rather, it is music as its best. Thank you gentlemen, for giving us Ultraphonix.
Cant wait for this cd to sink into my soul and become engrained in my very being as all of "Sacred Groove" does. Bring it!!!! Can really feel it from Poncho Tommeselli and Chris Moore!! This is a great line up!
I like the song but what was George doing on the solo? Seemed out of tempo and bad phrasing and that's what George is usually the best at, the solo on walk run crawl was awesome though
I have always thought that George was possibly a better finger style player than a pick style player…the song proves me correct..his finger style playing is very creative and complex with a lot of soul..!

"sounds like a fusion of early Chili Peppers meets King Crimson" ... that's probably fair. It also goes a long way toward explaining why I wouldn't give you a nickel for it. Dull as hell, closer to nursing home fare than rock.
Couldn't agree more! The dumbing down of civilization has reached audio epic proportions of the movie Idiocracy. This is mixed SO HORRIFICALLY it's shameful! Other than the bass and the smooth grit of Corey's voice...this is almost as bad as listening to Red Hot Chilli Peppers. At least their producer didn't jack the solo up 3 db higher than it should have been in the mix though....THANK GOD!! George has regressed into such a confused guitar player these days....almost as confused as his hair do!!

This is absolutely great, Corey's voice gets its true versatility revealed. Heard all of the album, it is one of the greatest of the year!
Now this is a Lynch collaboration I'd buy. Good tune and Lynch's riff and solo are perfect.
Love this project - always been a fan of Corey, love his voice - top stuff and George has so many cool projects!
