Damn, I really wanna see a SFM/blender rendition of Saxton vs The Horsemann now. Considering Saxton's grandad worked for the guy and all! The concept of a creature that can kill anything in two strikes is also really neat. The first to cripple, the second to behead.
Seeing the bosses on VSH maps makes me hope to see this mode expand further where you can play as the other bosses. It would be fun to teleport around the map as Monoculous (even still sending players to the underworld) or play a small game of prop hunt as you hide from players trying to find you when playing as Merasmus to heal yourself. And with the HHH, you are just as deadly in close combat as Saxton Hale himself. Oh, and I almost forgot about the Skeleton King, you could summon those 30fps skeletons to aid you against everyone. The potential for the VSH formula to extend to turn other side characters in the TF2 universe as playable bosses is almost limitless!
I believe there is a console command that generates pathways for the bots. Just run it and you can play with bots on any map! ❤ PS: Too lazy to find it rn, but I used it a few times.
the horseless headless horsemann deals 80% of your maximum hp per hit, which is why it's a two-shot from full health but an instant kill otherwise, and that's why he did 17,000 damage to the 21,300 hp saxton but 14,400 to the 18,000 hp saxton
The only boss he can reliably beat would be the skeleton king, Saxton isn't designed to take hits from an axe wielding giant dullahan who explicitly always kills in like two hits
Now i wonder how much work it would take to put Saxton on an MVM map! I'm under the impression that it wouldn't be very straightforward though, anyone know for sure?
