During the height of Jr's heyday , I turned on some of my hard rockin' friends to Hank. They didn't think that they liked country music until hearing this. The thing that they didn't realize is that it won't country and it won't rock. It was Hank. A genre and attitude all of its own .
I love Hank's rendition of Your Cheating Heart on the lap guitar. He really shows his musical skills in this concert. Thanks for posting this. Keep them coming. I never get tired of Hank.
Everyone had been in the right place in Hanks life when he fell from the Mountain,.... God bless all Involved ....God had put Everyone in there there for a reason..... looks as if we found out WHY!
First concert i ever went to in 1983 at the beckley Raleigh County armory west Virginia was hank Williams jr and the bama band was the greatest thang for me it blew my mind i was hooked

16:40 Hank didn’t like something. I don’t recognize this Bama band, but that guy was certainly intimidated. Was Animal Turner in the band at this time?
@@bolivingston1400 Thanks, Bo! That’s good information, I really appreciate it. Is it me, or do these guys seem a little uneasy up there? Was it because of the venue, or did Hank always make them nervous?
Hank Jr was definitely dealing with some stuff at this time. He had to go to the hospital in Palestine, Texas because he couldn’t finish a show that he was supposed to do for the Grand opening of Davis Kemp tool yard. I can’t judge.

Didn't know Louisa KY was big enough to fit the great Hank Williams Jr. 😆 I was hitchhiking thru Louisa back in the mid 70 and some big guy gave me a ride thru town so I wouldn't get robbed and beat up.
Just my opinion, this is Hank Jr at his best, this is country at its best, this is music equal to its best
and then there's now where he's a pathetic old bigot trying to be relevent again.
Dam right!
Absolutely, his finest moment for sure
Definitely
Your opinion is exactly right but nothing beats Waylon Jennings

Gawd this is good. I grew up in Austin when it was great. These shows were my childhood. 😢. Left 2017. They have no clue.
Seems like all the classic Southern cities are overrun by hipsters. I guess Southwestern in your case being from Tejas.
I spent a lot of time in San Antonio from 86 to 88 Used to go to Austin as often as possible. Went back in 2000 I'll never go back
Thank God he didn't die on that mountain. Can you imagine the music and talent the world would have missed. God bless hank jr

What’s the song at 9:00
It’s called Hank
Hank Jr, has more talent in his own right, in his pinky. Than Hank 3, Jett Williams, and others combined, who try to live off Hank Sr's name.
Hank 3 is good too, a different kind of outlaw for a different kind of time
@@BongRipskithe same as Hank Sr had more than Hank Jr living off his name. They're all good at what they're good at
