Jake -- Thanks for your VR review. My wife and I started following VR when our grandson (Tenor Sax) joined the band 2 years ago. The name of their program is ICON. I too was wondering about opening setup. Since watching this performance, I realized the band was in a Crown (For ICON) formation. You are correct that this video was only ICON parts1-3. What a ride it has been -- 2 great seasons - marching in 2023 Rose bowl - Disneyland - BOA Grand Nationals - 2 Texas State Finals performance - 2022 5th place finish #1 in music and brass categories. Love sitting among the enemy (all great people loving their bands), also watching all the great Texas HS bands. In their 1st performance this year at the Austin BOA Sept 23 regional, Vista Ridge finished 3rd (1st in music - they cleaned up the one part before playing "All by Myself"). All 12 Austin Regional band finalists are in the top 30 in Horn Rank 2023 3rd week rankings. My wife and I cannot wait until next year when our grand-daughter will join her big brother playing in the VR band. You are also right about part 4 -- my grandson informs me it's tougher than all first 3 parts - so stay tuned.

Hi! Proud mom of a brass player (bass trombone) here. Thank you for the beautiful words. They trully are the best sounding HS band in Texas last year, and maybe even this year. And before anybody gets me, I base that off of this band getting best in music captions often. We play loud and proud, like we always do😊😊 Go Rangers! 👑🤟🏼🤟🏼
