I have a 2016, yesterday it wouldn’t start, sounded like there wasn’t enough gas getting to the engine, would crank just not turn over. No check engine light, no prior problems ever, it finally started after 10 minutes of trying, and I haven’t had an issue since. Does this sound like the same problem you had?
If it comes on again tell the mechanic to fix the break switch. That’s my next step if it happens again. Went to the dealer today and they told me my battery is good.. read online about how it is possibly the break switch.. this issue happened to me yesterday on my 2017 Nissan Sentra Sr turbo. I have to step on the break and push the button to start it. It started after like the fifth try and I’m worried it will do it again. If it does I’ll schedule an appointment and get it diagnosed.
I had that same issue happen with my 2015 Nissan Rogue and I replaced the car battery (it was 5-years-old), thinking that it wasn’t getting enough power and I needed to change it anyway, but the car would still crank and not start. So after reading this comment, I held that start button for like a good minute and it finally started. The car dash then showed that there was no gas and that I had 305 miles left 😑. I’m no mechanic, but the problem seems to be fuel-related. I’m just going to leave the car on and hopefully the problem fixes itself 😅
I have the same issue with my 2016 rogue as well it’s been doing the same intermittently every year since I purchased it brand new off showroom floor , I took it to get looked at twice Nissan claims there is nothing wrong with it all the testing was 💯 they even kept overnights and still claim they didn’t get any negative codes and it started right up smh it really seems to do this in cold temps weather more , idk I think we got lemons !
I'm sure your video helped a lot of people but unfortunately my 2016 Nissan has not started in over a month now with the key in the ignition but it will remote start, I took it into the Nissan dealer and they can't figure it out neither.
