I tried all of them and find Turbine is the best as the lense are wider and wrap round my eyes and is also good for mountain biking/cycling as it grip around my skull better.
Yeah, I thought the same and honestly I have photophobia and I always choose polarized lenses, I have a pair of custom holbrook with prizm Jade polarized micas, I love them for its 13% VLT, I'd love if ice iridium could be a choice in custom, they have a 10% VLT
my personal pick is daily prizm polarized it has a really nice very settle rose tint plus polarized is a must for dirving there is so many cars with glare your windshield the road and other objects also its the perfect vlt% the frame i like is the carbon blade very spendy but extremely luxury and nice feeling plus the carbon blade only comes in prizm black polar and prizm daliy polar so it works perfect for me
You guys seem to be forgetting how the thicker arms and frames tend to block your peripheral field of vision. This makes some of the models you showed actually hazardous for driving, especially when changing lanes. My faves for driving are the M-Frames - seamless peripheral field of vision, super lightweight and fit.
Just got the portal x porlalizade at a good price. They look great and premium. My eyes have been hurting out here in LA. Changed brands. Not disappointed
I loved the black prizm polarized lens, however in most of the models I tried I felt an uncomfortable reflection in the lower corner of the glasses. Holbrook was the only model I tested in which this reflection didn't bother me.
The Holbrooks look like they have the Prizm Sapphire lenses. If so, Oakley specifically says those lenses (among others) are not suitable for driving. Do you agree? I just bought a pair, and only afterwards found out they aren’t suitable for driving. Not sure why (too dark? Inability to read traffic signals?)
Only 5 pairs? Do a part 2. My Double Edges aren’t bad for work (on the road for 10 hours a day) and I wear my Speed Jackets on my off time, which also work well. Would love more suggestions.
Hey Ben! If We're talking Oakley lenses then i'd say you can't go wrong with the Prizm Tungsten (polarized or non-polarized), Prizm Everyday Grey, or Prizm Black Polarized. 🤙
The glasses that didn't showcase, Night Road glasses, no more bright lights, freakn luvem, but they ain't worth a shit in the daytime, still love'em though
Im looking to buy Oakley Holbrook BLUE LEND how can I get the medium size or regular size? I didn't found the option online no choice to pick up the size. HELP PLEASE
Hello, Mr AJJ! The Oakley Holbrook comes in the standard 57 eyesize which is a SportRx Frame Width (SFW) of 132. This is categorized as a men's medium. It is available with Prizm Sapphire lenses here: www.sportrx.com/oakley-holbrook.html
Driving, yes! For Fishing and Hunting, it's better to opt for a semi or full wrap frame with rubber accents along the bridge and temples for better staying power. When you start to move and heat up, the Manorburns will have a tendency to slide down the bridge of your nose. You may also want to consider an ANSI rated safety frame for hunting. Check out WileyXs collection of frames, or if you want to stick with oakley, take a look at the Shock Tube or Det cord frame models. 👉www.sportrx.com/oakley-si-shocktube-ballistic.html 👉www.sportrx.com/oakley-industrial-det-cord-ansi.html 👉www.sportrx.com/brand/wiley-x.html
At the moment driving with Flak 2.0 and Sapphire XL pol lenses and its great. Gives a real comfort to the eyes, therefore I am shocked that there not in this video. Care to explain Rob ?
I had an rx pair of gascans with prizm ruby iridium polarized for about 6 years before i accidentally dropped them at a grocery store about a month ago. Would a pair of split shot with prizm 24k polarized would be a good upgrade/replacement. My work insurance gives me 1 free pair of rx glasses/sunglasses a year up to $500usd.
You spoke about the fit which varies greatly from person to person but yet, you spoke nothing about why these sunglasses are great for driving! What is most important is what brings out what you SEE when driving!!! What are percentage of light transmission? How about contrast? Neutal color balance? Extreme light conditions? Low light conditions? This review was basically worthless!!!
I tried all of them and find Turbine is the best as the lense are wider and wrap round my eyes and is also good for mountain biking/cycling as it grip around my skull better.
I really thought you're going to talk more about the most suitable lenses to drive with and less about the frame style but still a nice video
+1
Thanks, Mike! I would say any PRIZM Everyday lens would work well and we definitely recommend going with a polarized lens for maximum glare reduction.

I have recently discovered Turbine, it is the most perfect fitting and looking sunglasses for my big head/face and it suits any occasion. Very happy.
Great to hear! Thanks for sharing your top pick with us.

I love turbine and portal x
No Oakley sylas?? I like the frame and the fit
I ordered the cable black camo instead of the manoburns is the cables good for driving hunting and fishing can u do a full review of them
Best oakleys I had for driving were my squarewires. I miss them dearly and no matter where I look I’m yet to find a model to replace them :(

Thanks for watching! You can also check out the EVZero Blades or even the Sutro if you want a full-shield look.
Just got the Portal x. Beautiful pair of shades.
Excellent choice!
Hi, Great video! Witch colour of glases do you prefer for driving?

Is the manoburn good for driving and fishing and hunting with a brown lens

No real explanation other than the fact we wanted to keep it short and to the point. There is nothing wrong with using that Flak 2.0 XL for driving:)
I have the Catalyst one ! It's smooth to drive with them. Polarized lenses
They're amazing, right?! Polarized lenses are a great option for a good all-around lens. Glad they're working out for you!

Ooooh yes! PRIZM 24k polar is a great lens and the Split Shot will give you tons of wraparound coverage like the Gascan.
I’m interested to buy jawbreaker sunglass, how can i avail it and how much it cost?
Hi Chris! Simply click on the link below to purchase your own pair Oakley Jawbreakers!

@@sportrxeyewear okay thanks.
Any upcoming videos on Wiley X captivate lenses?
prizm ? black, road, Thanks
I have a question, what is the purpose or use for non polarized prizm lenses??
Hi there! Many PRIZM Sport lenses are non-polar because a polarized filter slightly throws off depth perception for some individuals.
Hi! Which lense is better the grey polarized or the tungsten polarized?
which lense did you buy after 2 years ?
I'm getting a pair
What kind of glasses is the host wearing?
Rob is wearing the Oakley Miter.
Perfect
I'm surprised that the Gibston aren't in the video. They they are my daily driving glasses 👓, can't fault them.
Great choice, Lee! Solid option for driving in our opinion although it is not featured in this particular video.
Oakley manual says that Turbine is "not suitable for driving and road use"
Sounds like their manual is outdated.

Can’t I wear my Radar EV to drive?
Of course you can!
was expecting Oakley lens comparison, not frame comparison ;o]]
I can choose a frame style myself so I find this video completely useless
