Thank you❤ Hahah yes she was snuggled in amongst all the groceries in the tender 😄 She was a big help getting all the stuff into the tender, such a good little helper ❤❤ -Cait
Love the pizza idea, we do flat bread on the stove, just water, flour, a bit of oil and you can add any flavours you want like garlic and butter or rosemary, and we have made cinnamon sugar flat bread before too - its great when running low on supplies and its delicious!
Thank you for sharing! Oh yes love flat bread! 😍 We make it even when we are not low on supplies! 😆 Have you tried raisins in there? a bit of cinnamon, sugar and raisins and it's magnificent! 😍 Thank you for watching!! 💜 -Cait
Was going to suggest powdered milk, then noticed it's soy. I have a breville 9 in 1 multi cooker, includes bread maker, small fresh loaf when needed, no issue re stale/mould, smells great, 5kg bag of mix ~$15. If you can get near Aldi, save a lot more with what you got there. Vac seal is handy, stock up when bargains, especially b4 heading remote island$. Silica gel satchels in anything prone to moister issues. Large camp chest fridge/freezers are handy, cold doesn't fall out when you open the door, can stack them, use them as seats.
Thank you for watching!! 💜💜 LOVE Aldis! Unfortunately the last Aldis heading north is Rockhampton 😞😢 We stocked up on Aldis when we left Runaway Bay in the Gold Coast! We do carry powered milk onboard, super super handy! One of the improvements we will be doing is installing another freezer, a chest like freezer so that the cold air doesn't escape out when opened 😃 💜 -Cait
Cait get a vacuum food sucker thingy, they are fabulous for preserving food, all food. A Good one cost about $40. We've had one for about 10yrs. Honestly ur food will last alot longer and stay as fresh as the day u packaged it. Great episode, but I'm hungry now, lots xxxx I've got a brother at Airlie, his name is Lindsay Mcleod, u may just bump into him one day. His 48.
Thank you!! Its good to get first hand reccommendations of items that pekple use, what is the brsnd you have? We have heard great things about those vacuum sellers! A lot of sailors swear by them and it might be in our future! We will keep an eye out for Lindsay! Airlie is home for us, even though we no longer have a house there, it will forever be the place we call home 💙💜 Such an amazing community. Cait
@@sailingwiththejamess hi people's, sorry for delay in replying. Brand name of Vacuum sealer is (Inkbird Plus), it has the cutter slide as well to cut the bags. Tip, buy rolls of 28cm wide and then u make the size u want, don't get ready made bags ok. Be prepared to stuff a few up till u get the hang of it. Lots xxx
