I noticed puddle on the floor towards end of the video... is this condensation or wet car ?? Be interested to see what humidity inside the carcoon holds also :) Great vid , huge thanks and keep me posted Dave
You need to buy an outside weather proof extension cable, to use an indoor extension is dangerous bordering recklessness considering health & safety. Thanks for sharing your carcoon baby!
I can well recommend a Carcoon. Buy one, you will not be disappointed. Stands up to all weather conditions. If it snows, just remove the snow from the top with a brush.
Good to see carcoons can work it depends on what area you live in they can be vandalized if you were unlucky and they seem a bit of a faf but not knocking them if they work for you that's good I still prefer the old garage well vented and just a nice soft cover for the car mine keeps well
Very good experiment, interesting. For practical purposes the Carcoon isn't a lot better than an unheated uninsulated garage then. I think that's quite positive for the carcoon but it's not magic and your classic will deteriorate in it over time, certainly outdoors.
Brilliant brilliant video hats off to ya man so informative been looking for years for reviews this blew me away great job 👍👍 my minds made up carcoon works wonders even the out door carcoon is better than a garage fantastic
That's the problem I had with covering up my project car, where I lived then the wind blew every afternoon, i took the cover off after about a year and it had destroyed my whole paint job, it buffed through the clear and paint on every corner and contact point (about 30-40 spots) I dont think I'll ever put a car cover on a vehicle outside ever again. Another reason not to cover vehicles for long periods of time is humidity, any car guy with old cars outside will tell you a car will last alot longer just setting outside in the weather then it setting there with a tarp or car cover on it. Best to obviously store inside a shop or buy or build a carport atleast. This all said if I could afford or wanted to spend the money one of those car capsules look pretty sweet.
