Eric is such a great guitarist and inspiration :) I think this is the first original recording I have heard from him and it has an amazing melody :) One of the best guitarists out there I would say :D ...and he is smiling while playing - he totally enjoys what he does =)

E Rock is such a talented dude. Probably one of the coolest things about him is how he is always smiling in his videos. Clearly, he loves what he's doing.

Why are people complaining about Eric smiling. I find it awesome that a metal guitarist can smile. I am a violent guitar player but I still smile away because it's something I love doing, is it illegal to smile? No, so stop complaining and smile because he is a amazing with a guitar, not all metal guitarist have to look angry when playing.

ThaDerpyMuffin I'm reminded of seeing David Gilmour playing Run Like Hell live. You couldn't tear the smile from his face if you tried. It was my impression that he couldn't think of *anything* he'd rather be doing and couldn't help himself. So I guess I agree with you; there's nothing wrong with people smiling because they're doing what they love.

my heart sinks at 1;52 everytime Erock obviously he has a good heart people mistake kindness as a weakness keep on smiling erock!! one of my favorite guitarists next to slash he killed it on velvet revolvers first album i cant remember the name of the last song on that album but that solo gut wreching and heart breaking theres nothing wrong with shedding tears i thank god for the songs of emotions cause if i didnt have them id lose my mind!!.

But now that i see people like this it makes me so happy knowing that there is so much actual talent in the world and not just people who can cover boring generic pop songs. I would love to play like him. Every time I play I have this strange/weird funny faces, and he just looks like so calmed and happy. I wished I could be as good as this guy. He's just too good and maybe an icon on RUclips, but come on, he's better than just this, not saying that this is bad, but he should get more fame.

That's the smile of who loves what he's doing, those who make playing guitar the most beautiful and important thing in their life have this smile inside, that's why he will always smile while he'll be playing, no matter whether the world ends or he got his leg cut
I can't believe the amount of ignorant metalheads who can't appreciate a nice slow melody instead of speedy songs. Both are amazing but it's nice for a change.
Martin McDowell a good musician is not based on how fast you can play, it's what you can play, and a good musician like erock is a fine example of a musician who puts emotions and skills into what he does to provide the best for his fans.
2 of my favourite bands are mors principium est and Insomnium. That speaks for itself. I just love guitar, drums and a melodic melody.

He can't help it. It's just his guitar face! Everybody has one. That and the picking hand are two of the most distinguishing features of every guitarist. He got lucky with his lol

This is by far my favorite song to listen to. I wish there was an automatic repeat button. I love listening to this especially when I'm stressed or upset. I close my eyes and there's a weight lifted. Like everything is going to be ok and nothing will get to me. He had such passion for what he does and you can definitely tell he loves it. Keep up the tremendous job

I've been watching Erics videos for a few years now, and this guy is amazing. He has truly shown that he loves making music and is superb at playing guitar. So much talent in this guy. I hope he goes a long way and we get to hear more from him for many more years. It's nice to know that there are still artist in this word that do it for the love and passion of music and not just to get famous.

I used to hate this guy with a passion, but then I realized how incredible a guitarist he really is. He can play whatever he wants, turn any lame song into an amazing one, and he enjoys it for the most part. And now he has a debut album coming out?! Good for him that he made it through that little sliver to be bigger.
