IDENTITY DOCUMENTS
Submit notarized copies of two forms of identification (one being a passport) directly to CGFNS that verify your current name, with no abbreviations. In addition, you must submit additional identity documents to verify any other names that you once held that may appear on any documents CGFNS will receive from your educational institutions, license/registration authorities, employers or language testing vendors.
Acceptable forms of photo identification (ID) are:
1.Passports (required)
2.Driver’s License(s)
Other acceptable forms of identification include:
1.Birth Certificates
2.Marriage Certificates
3.Divorce Certificates
4.Legal Name Change Affidavits
You are responsible for all fees related to preparing your notarized documents. If any of these documents are written in a language other than English, they must be translated by a certified translator.
CGFNS does not accept original identity documents but accepts photocopies of the original document. These photocopies must be notarized copies of the original documents (signed, dated and stamped by an individual authorized to notarize documents, which could include: notary publics, attorneys, etc.). You must be with the notary at the time the original documents are copied and notarized. The notary is required to make a statement on all notarized identity document photocopies that the notary has seen the original document and that they certify that the copy is a “true copy” of the original (with the exception of a legal name affidavit which itself is an original document).
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
NCNZ requires that you must have been employed as a nurse for at least two of the last five years prior to applying for registration. You may still apply for the Credentials Verification Service but if you have not worked as a nurse for at least two of the last five years, the decision made by the NCNZ regarding your registration application may be affected.
You cannot apply to CVS-NCNZ if you have no work experience as a nurse.
You will be required to request all employers where you have ever been employed as a nurse within the last five years to send documentation to CGFNS regarding your employment history and the current status of your nursing employment.
EDUCATION HISTORY
You will be required to request that institutions of higher/tertiary level education send documentation regarding any education you received there that specifically contributed to your nursing knowledge directly to CGFNS.
In addition to your transcripts, course descriptions, and other educational documents, make sure each of your higher/tertiary level educational institutions completes an education history form to send along with the documents.
LICENSE VALIDATION
To be eligible to apply for CVS-NCNZ, you must be licensed/registered as a nurse in your country of education and hold an active license as a nurse.
You will be required to request all authorities for the jurisdictions where you have been licensed/registered to send documentation to CGFNS regarding your license/registration history and the current status of your license to practice.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
If you are not exempt, you must schedule yourself for approved English language proficiency tests with approved testing vendors. The approved testing vendors are:
Occupational English Test (OET)
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)-Academic Module Only
You may request a waiver of language testing if:
Your nursing education was conducted in and you are registered to practice in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada or the United States of America; or
You registered and practiced in the UK, Ireland, Canada or the USA, AND you were required to pass an English language test to gain registration

Hi CAP is like a bridging program po. 6 weeks total of study and clinical.
Hindi po ako nag CAP but once matapos ka at pumasa, apply ka na Annual practicing certificate. Un na confirmation mo na registered nurse ka na
Regarding sa work. I can't guarantee na madali. May mga nadalian may mga nahihirapan. Employers will probably assess you sa work experience and how you present yourself. If hindi ka naman mapili sa area... for sure may makikita ka 😊😊😊

Kaso upon registration narealize ko na expired na pala yung license ko sa Philippines...should I continue with the registration or renew my license first..opinion lang po, baka po kasi masayang yung registration.. Is diploma nurse same as registered nurse?
I would suggest process it together at the same time. Certain documents from your employer, nmc, and school will be needed when you start your CGFNS.
Yes you can migrate with your family here. Look for a job first that would be willing to sponsor your work visa

I got a question. I’m a nurse working in UK and i really wanted to work in NZ. Kung naka register na ako sa NZNC and I don’t need to take CAP. What’s the next step after in terms of visa na ia-apply mo. Working visa ba muna then resident visa after? How long usually i would stay in a work visa bago maka apply ng residency? Iba iba pathway. You can apply for work to residence. 2yrs mo kailangan mo mag work bago makaapply residency kung itong pathway.
Or pde naman pagdtng mo nz. Apply ka agad residency via pointing system. Apply Expression of interest and pag na invite ka, apply ka na residency.

I think you need to an RN in singapore po. You can try po sa UK mas lax po ang requirements dun :) then transfer nlng po kayo nz once may enough experience na po kayo as RN

Sorry to hear that. All I can say po is you need to know your rights. They need to cooperate po. They are responsible to fill out the form that you need. You might need to ask help from the labor dept dyan sa sg if they refuse.

Depende po yan sa employer mo. Hindi ko po masasabi kung magkakaproblem po kayo with them if hindi po tapusin ang contract.

Ireland po dahil fast and easy process. Started to look for nursing job overseas at 2017. It would take time po if sa US ako nagapply. Wala pa me ielts at NCLEX.
NZ.... because if RN ka sa NZ pde ka mgng RN sa Australia (closer and cheaper plane ticket) which is my original plan. Pero I'm loving NZ at the moment 😊

Not necessary. Only if may condition ung license. Most of the time wala po. So pde po apply sa ahpra after you get the reg in nz :)

In CGFNS New zealand application, there are some forms to fill up, pl. Sort out the doubts.
1. School name : is it college name or University name ?
Bcz I studied in College but the Marksheet and degree certificate is from university.
2. Employment: Do we have to put the details of last 5 years only or of every employment we had in lifetime?
3. Nursing registration council:Do we have to input all nursing council we had registered or the current one only?

1. I can't answer this po unfortunately. I graduated from FEU so It was straight forward.
2. Yes. All employment.
