Head hit arse n back. Fair hit. Both players went at puck.
Head didn’t hit the ice. But did glance off the sideboards. Probably did get concussed.
"probably concussed" (: he was KO'd of course he was concussed and it wasn't from the sideboard it was from davies back. don't listen to the commentator just watch the footage it's obvious.
Oh yeah! I saw that @1:34. I noticed his head glancing off the sideboards on his way down. They made it sound like his head nothing.
fair game, good hit.
left his feet😂
@@artcorvolet Neat. That's just a sign there was speed and momentum involved.

Reverse hit is generally considered legal, what else can you say?
Wind knocked out of him.
i hope that's a joke, im not sure thou..
@@christerpettersson5750 Why do you think that’s a joke?
Well im not sure, honestly i don't know what to think about it.
The forechecking player has not touched the puck so I must ask why is this type of contact not called as an interference penalty?
100%. Also the forechecking player is at an extreme disadvantage because if he so much as bumps a player from behind, he’s getting either a 2 or 5 min penalty, and also must fight the opposing team. So he cannot instigate any contact, but the reverse hitter can prey on him. Reverse hit is a real Bush league move IMO.
if two players are going for a loose puck, you can hit. one of the lesser known rules but this was a legal check make no mistake
@@zalapski9399 smith didnt have the positional advantage going for the loose puck, thats just the way of the game.
Because players have to stop at the boards, and they arent going in the same direction.
@@Yambag completely true. If its a loose puck, both players must be ready for contact. No direct contact to head, not high speed, just gotta be ready for contact. He’s a young player that needs to learn he’s playing against grown men
Can't put yourself into someone's back like that. Change angle and make a hit on the shoulder. Or keep distance
How are these guys making it into the league?
what do you mean? that was a legal hit. i think you're just ignorant to the rules
You are missing my point. The hits fine of course. I feel M. Tkachuk patented this move in the league a few years back. It’s just so soft my dude. I can barely watch these little pusses play this game anymore. Get up and get off the ice!
How are these guys making comments on RUclips?
@@bl9531 stupid is as stupid does.
Reverse hits sure are somethin'
Left his feet,it’s a penalty.
Lol !
Cope, seethe and watch soccer.
I thought you couldn't leave your feet to make a hit? even a reverse hit? dude was half foot off the ground..
Yeah, to be fair most of the reverse hits you see have the dude with his back turn just leap into the air
Yeah, not supposed to leap/leave the ice for a hit. But called at the discretion of the official.
What happens if the guy that GETS reverse hit breaks his stick on the guys back? is that 2 for cross checking? 😂 This is a legit question lol
after contact, clean hit all day and night
@@hoff9932 when are we going to see reverse reverse-hits?…
He just got KO, the refs should have started the protection count and then stop the fight, oh wait I got a bit carried away. He hit his chin against the back pads, those pads are hard and therefore he got KO. He should be 👍
no interference call ? Player never toutched or being close to touch the puck... PLUS could say t he preds player left his feet off the ground on hit. Bad officiatiog / rules.
if two players are going for a loose puck, you can hit. before you claim that smith cant hit from behind, that's correct but he just didnt have the positional advantage. still a legal hit by davies.
“Interference is defined as when a player uses his body (“pick” or “block”) to impede the progress of an opponent (non-puck carrier) with no effort to play the puck, maintain normal foot speed or maintain an established skating lane.”
Welcome to the NHL Smith. Obviously Hastings didn’t toughen you up enough at Mankato
if you think this is interference, you do not know enough about hockey to be commenting on it.
😂 my favorite plays in hockey are reverse hits 👏
