Awesome video Don, thanks so much. As someone who's trying to get into Linux as a daily driver, been using Nobara on and off for past 18 month on a Dell SFF PC, sadly due to video editing client workflows I can't completely abandon Windows and Adobe, all of this is so useful to me, from the essential apps/plugins, to the prettification, you just help make switching to Linux full time more appealing, and I do intend to, I refuse to use Windows 11 due to Microsoft's overreach or privacy invasion, sooner or later I'll be Linux daily driving and just use Windows in a VM if I need to.
Thank you Nova, you just made me move towards ubuntu :). I would like you when you have time to have a full setup of ubuntu with everything you said including drivers for nvidia for example. :) Good for people are starting to switch from windows.
Always learn something watching your videos and this one is no exception. Will need to review a few of these again and give them a try. Do the best you can and stay strong - your viewers are with you in spirit.
Thank you for explaining about extentions with Gnome. I have a question regarding Window Restorations; like if I suspend my computer then reawaken it will remember where all my app windows are and even on which monitor, I have 2 monitors. Appararently, Gnome doesn't do widnows restoration but kde plasma 6 does. Gnome works great for the most part just this annoys me when I reawaken and my windows are randomly put elsewhere. I was wonder if there is a tweak/trick to have this with Gnome? You can't use KDE Plasma 6 till Oct/2024 for Ubuntu, until 24.10 is released. OK thanks if someone can help with Window Restorations.
You should’ve gone with fedora when you decided to switch away from arch, no? Fedora is more bleeding edge than Debian/ubuntu and also wonderfully stable.
Thanks for this! I really want to customize my Linux further and I now have new toys to play with. One small critique is it's hard to read text on your screen on the video but otherwise I like it!
Wishing you a full and speedy recovery! form my heart i have sister has same disease after surgery and chemotherapy she is very well be stronger than ever
#NOVASPIRIT Bruv quick one😏✌️👉 Do they fix Screen Scaling on TV trough HDMI on Nvidia?? And does Chrome finally support Hardware Video Decoder Encoder on RUclips?? Or other browser fixed Hardware Video Decode like Firefox or Florp??? Thx
