I have that Build A Bear Grogu. I got him on my birthday one year and went to Build A Bear to get it myself with my mom as an adult. I chose no sound boxes as I wanted it to be easier to wash. The worker did undo the velcro to show me how to fix it as needed.
Also the worker who tried closing up mine had an issue with the pull and tie threads on it because of a small factory error that made it not function properly for closing up the stuffing hole in the back of the plush so a worker had to remove that thread and have it sewn up at the checkout counter. (They keep their sewing kits behind the counter away from children)
There's a small thread in the back of the neck you cut to remove the original grogu outfit they put so the outfit doesn't separate from the toy as kids grab it in the store. I removed that thread when I got home because I have the Grogu pajamas for it as well that I put on it sometimes.
Wow! What a great review. I have procrastinated on this one and I think I’m going to go ahead and add him to my builder bear collection. So cool that they did give you the iconic box. ✨🌟✨
On the UK build-a-bear site I was looking through their plushies and they're doing graduation-themed Children and since I'm leaving for higher education this year I had to get one before I finish school! He has a little graduation cap and should arrive in a few days - until then, I'm just feeding off of these reviews haha
He's $64.99? That knocked the air out of me. I can't breath.
Luckily now it’s much cheaper. It was a preorder and it had to have the sounds in it. Now he’s still pretty expensive, but it’s much better.
I paid 41$ for mine plus the matching bag.😌🙌
I got a baby Yoda stuffie from Disney Store and it was a lot cheaper than the Build a Bear. At $15

If you look on that certificate it says in the bottom corner ID number if you look on the bear there is a barcode tag on his ear that had a tear off piece that is inside your bear. If he needs to be fixed or replaced thats his code for the build a bear hospital to replace him or his parts to fix him. All build a bears have a ID code save the birth certificate for that reason as well
I just bought the vinyl head plush and looking at them side by side I'm very happy with my choice

Glad I watched this. I love the vinyl head because it's more authentic looks-wise. But, for a plush, the BAB Baby Yoda is incredible looking. Especially when compared to other completely plush options. Mine is in the mail now. Very excited.

Well, partially you can take it off from his neck and his arms but no, its sewn in the back of the neck
Mine is more stuffed which makes the face look more round. The second one I got looks like yours. That one is going to my friend's nephew. And the other 2 comments on your video are from a fake account. He always comments on mine and I delete them. It's a known fake account there are RUclips videos about him. Zoey Alexandria no he does not! The voice boxes are in both hands! Right hand is the voices and the left hand is the Mandalorian theme song!

The closest build a bear to my house is 9.4 miles away so needless to say I ordered my Grogu online and he came in just a few days.

Thanks for the comparison. He looks okay, but compare to the Mattel one, this one is not as cute. It would be good to have soft wire in the ears so you can shape and show different emotions, but it would not be good for kids and hugging. Too bad.

I live in Australia so i had to pay $87USD for this (including shipping). Not worth it but i was desperate for this since we dont really have the same amount of merchandise over here for mandalorian. and most of the stuff we do have got sold out and isn't available until early- mid next year or isn't great quality imo. Somewhat happy with my purchase (just ordered) and should get it on my bday.
Had to buy on the US build a bear website ^^^ Amazon had them listed for $170AUD instead of $120 which i spent.

Yes you can
There are two stitches at the back of his neck that keep the robe attached. I’m sure you can clip them and remove the robe. 😊
