I don’t think Harbaugh could’ve left the program in better hands. He’ll be missed, appreciated, and fondly remembered, but Sherrone Moore is THE TRUTH and I can’t wait for the 2024 season to start.
Agree with all of you. This is first time I have really got to listen to him and glad I did. Wasn’t really sure when first hired, but after this interview we got a great Michigan man, Go Blue from Wisconsin
Music to my ears....if it's not broke don't fix it. Just reinforce. Build a staff that will replace you Sherrone one day. Boost our talent/recruiting. We should be in great position to continue being great.
Coach Moore is going to do great things. Him and Harbaugh have the right way of thinking about their program and more importantly their players! Go BLUE!!!
So Happy For You Coach Moore, And I Have To Say the last three games of the season when Jim decided to sit out that was part of his grooming you to take over, the sad ncaa wanted him gone so it was his way of saying “ See He’s Your Man When I Leave” Absolutely Michigan Nation Is In Great Hands 🙌 Go Blue〽️
I just hope people are patient. If they lose to Texas second week or (God forbid) lose at Columbus in November, that tbe entire fanbase isn't calling for his head. Remember how long it took Harbaugh.
This year feels like a 7-5 season considering no current QB, losing too many starters/stars to NFL, graduations and portal transfers. A tough situation for any coach, let alone during a transition at head coach.
Similar to Ryan Day. Both had 3 games to see if they could do it. Both won all the games and knew they could do the job. It's about to get very Interesting
@Superfreq69 They're Apples and Oranges. Sherrone Moore was at Michigan for 6 years. Ryan Day was at OSU for 2. Moore slowly climbed the coaching hierarchy at Michigan, Day didn't at OSU. Moore helped elevate an okay/good team to an elite team while an assistant, Ohio State remained the same while Day was an assistant. Moore helped win a national championship while the leading assistant, Day had nothing to do with Meyer's national championship. Sure, they were both OCs elevated to HC that were also Interim HCs but the beyond the "on the surface" similarities, their paths and situations were very different.
@@Jon.A.Scholt day won 2 conference titles as OC and beat Michi twice including putting up 62pts in 18 as an underdog. He has been 56-8 as the HC. I'm willing to bet Moore isn't going to be 56-8 over the next 5 years
@@kendallandrews8691 I'm not sure what you're trying to prove by listing Day's accomplishments; especially since Sherrone Moore was even more accomplished during his two years as OC. He won 2 Big Ten titles, beat Ohio State twice, had two playoff appearances and was a 15-0 national champion as OC. Again, a better resume than Day's. Will Moore have a better record than Day after his first 5 years? I doubt it. Again, it's an Apples to Oranges comparison. Both were walking into very different situations and took very different paths to get there. Day didn't have to deal with NIL. Day didn't have to deal with the massive movement we see in the transfer portal these days. These are major, major challenges Moore has to deal with that Day simply didn't have to consider.
If you don't know by now, JJ's leg was injured and he could hardly walk let alone throw effectively. It was more about the necessity of protecting JJ and giving the offense the best chance of success than anything else.
Yes, willow, I did. Sherrone and staff did a great job devising a game plan that protected JJ in the Maryland, PSU and allowing him to heal enough for the OSU game. They knew he had to be more mobile if we were to beat that team down south. Mission accomplished!
I remember all those arrogant SEC and Alabama fans talking crap about Michigan's and Big 10 offenses during the Penn State game and how a SEC team would walk over the Michigan defense. How did that turn out suckers?
I agree Mike is very deserving, but offensive and defensive coordinators are considered more demanding jobs. Mike might want to get a coordinator job on his resume if he wants a head coaching position.
Moore is such a humblre, smart, elegant man, he has what it takes. there is a reason that Jim said this is the man ofr the job. also what he said, even diplomaticly. shows just how even them having wifi, they didn't nkow about the situation til the plane landed, aas if the big 10 was literally tracking their flight nad made the announcment exactly at that time. Petiti is a POS
Minter goes to Chargers so I believe Sherrone has no choice and has to hire outside of program a young defensive genius that starts with the middle of the line. It all starts there!
Sherrone moore possibly 11-1 it's going to be his 1st year of being a real head coach. It could be like a jim harbaugh start out with sherrone moore being head coach but I don't doubt that sherrone moore should be head coach and stay as michigans head coach:| I am serious let's go blue.
Michigan couldn't even get Gatlin B. A 5 star after winning the Natty 😂. This Sharron Moore experiment is just that. An experiment. UM has been gutted . With fans trying to cling to some hope of a reload. Sorry 😂 looks like its time to rebuild instead. I wouldn't want to do that with a mediocre OC. Who was a O line coach better suited. He failed at play calling and the pass game wasn't good.
@@benniewoods9514 None. It will not be the disaster you're hoping for. Saying this is an experiment after what Sherrone Moore did against Penn State and Ohio State? He's ready.
I think he has a quiet toughness. Bo was a tough coach but at his core a caring mentor. Coach Carr was more laid back but won a National title. Being an arrogant know nothing like Trump would be a disaster. You must be a man of integrity, at least at Michigan. My opinion!
@robertjackson6829 Thank you for bringing politics into the conversation. That's what we all wanted to hear. Maybe get some help with your Trump derangement syndrome. My Opinion!
I am a born in Wolverine and I don’t even need to give this a chance to know it is a train wreck nightmare. Sharone won’t do better than 9 and 3 in his 5 year contract. That to me is bad representation for Michigan and the first ever. The writing is on the wall.
After next season you will be begging for 9-3. He’s already said he’s going to do things his way… why change up a championship team as an unproven coach
You're giving OSu, USC, and oregon too much credit. Them Urban Meyer Teams are long gone, and so are them Rich Rod and Hoke days. He should be ok as long as they recruit better than Jimmy.

He has a class act and humbled. With everything that’s going on at Michigan, I truly wish him the best let’s go blue 2024.
Go Blue Coach Moore! God Bless!
