Watch Your Step was so fun. Power level was high, though that allowed many ways to play it. I remember playing a version with On the Edges, Run Luke Runs, and three Jedi Lukes. Sure wish I still had those!
On the edge is a fun one!! Who doesn't like a little gambling?!? Thx for bringing run Luke run to my attention. Feel like I should slip that into one or two of my decks
I was just informed and the current rule book confirmed, can't react through docking bays so the yavin 4 docking bay should be switched to the tatooine mos espa docking bay.
WYS was one of my favourites. My approach was using Ralltir system for K-runs with Ralltir freighter captains (doubles x). For ships I used x-wings (from memory red 6, red 7 and others backed up by x-wing lasers, hyper escape and organised attack. I only played up to ref 2 set
I tried to learn this game a number of years ago but it was just massively confusing unfortunately. Thankfully the SWLCG from FFG came out shortly after and that was exceptional, even though itself being somewhat tricky to learn. I hope the SWCCG makes a comeback of sorts though for those who love it.
Nowdays i´m working in a reproduction list of videos WITH ALL THE RULES EXPALINED IN DETAIL, because i´m spanish they are in spanish, but... There´s always a but. ;-) In medium long term i wil work in English subtittles for all those videos. All suport to his effort is really apreciate it. Regards. ^_^
I’m trying to figure out the Patrol Craft free react tactic you mentioned, but I keep hitting a road block. Move as a ‘react’ doesn’t allow you to use Docking Bay Transit. Is there an effect that allows you to override that restriction?
There's not an effect that I'm aware of that allows the reacting through docking bays. What I've done since I've been notified of the inability to react through docking bays is removed one of the docking bays and added the second tatooine docking bay because there are two different tatooine docking bays. I'll focus the patrol craft on those two docking bays, spread them out for force drains and then react to a battle if someone wants to pick a fight at one of them.
Awesome Job!! Incredible! Thanks a lot for this video!! If you do not mind, i would like to translate it to spanish (in a long Future), obiously with your authorization, in order to could be accesible for only Spanish speakers I will also (obviously) mention your work. Really apreciate this video that is os that is in my Deckbulding reproduction list Regards. ^_^
You draw 4 battle destiny with two Palace Raiders and two patrol craft. Two Palace Raiders give you a total ability of four so you draw one battle destiny with that. Each Palace raider adds a battle destiny. And then you have the additional battle destiny from Watch Your Step. It’s even better than you thought!
I used to play it that way also but then I learned of the stacking rule in SWCCG which is that the same trigger only adds once no matter how many of the same triggers there are so even if there are ten palace raiders, they still only add one battle destiny. Lot different than like MTG
@@swccgtothemoon3296 I just re-read the cumulative rules in the comprehenvise rulebook. That means I've been playing my raiders wrong against myself for a long time lol
@@swccgtothemoon3296 For real. I really like your deck - thanks for sharing. I've been messing around with a very similar version that cuts Corellia and just does Kessel Runs from Tatooine on the Pulsar Skate, which allows you to add the ability of a unique smuggler onboard to X. Most of the smugglers are only ability 2 but if you have Melas you can retrieve 5 from a 1 parsec Kessel Run - not bad! I also run a few red cards that you don't - Fallen Portal is great at docking bays, and Blast the Door Kid is great in this deck - if they bring Vader and Dr. Evazan combo or a scrub down to fight, BtDK! excludes Vader and leaves your Raiders to beatdown on the remains. You could also swap a Projection out for Bargaining Table and use your Raiders (and Ralltiir Freighter Captain) to cancel drains. I also love Moving to Attack Position - with so many Corellians it makes your ships completely immune to attrition and it combos particularly nicely with the Outrider.

Lol, sorry posted a comment about this before seeing this.
Yea I wanted to do that also. Sadly docking bay transit is only during movement phase.

Yep, fun flying around the galaxy. The players committee just released a virtual card of light side mara jade who's also a smuggler. Pretty exciting

Wouldn’t Artoo-Detoo in Red 5 be +6 deploy due to the objective?
No, cause Droids don't have ability.
@@xxxvulturexxx Ooooooh, I missed the “with ability” part. Thanks! I should RTFC.

FYI, Luke isnt a smuggler so he can’t be targeted by Kessel Run.
Yep. Just realized that the other day. Kind of a bummer!!
