Sweet deck. Been working on a Prem-Fef2 version... changed it around 30 times.. can't decide more ground or heavy space with Imp Commands blah blah. Anyway any chance you have a Prem-Ref2 version? Either way keep up the deck videos, enjoy them.

Really like your Deck. I put together a Bring Him as soon as DS2 hit and allways loved it. Lord Vader Became my go to Vader at that point as well. Awesome in Hunt Down as well.

Oh boy, Golden era

Update: went 3-0 with this deck in the 2024 retro league. Made a few minor changes to the original decklist. -1 Imperial class star destroyer -1 Danz Borin -3 grappling hook +1 oota goota solo +1 restraining bolt +3 whatre you trying to push on us

Been over 25 years but I'll never forget my cool mains under the shield deck I did well with at tournaments after people kinda gave up on hoth when dagobah came out... anyway had luke and obi draining at markers sorry about the messing anything that came over. Ran Kessel and kiffex with falcon/han and couple other ships. Also ran a few anger fear aggressions. One of the few decks I actually won with ha. Anyway ya good times.

Thanks man great deck tech again! I just played your scanning crew deck for my last Retro League game. If I could offer one piece of constructive criticism, maybe take a drink at regular intervals (away from your mic) and don't wait until you're fully coughing to take a loud drink on the mic. Hopefully that wasn't too hash. I've noticed the coughing and drinking on multiple videos, just something to think about. Please don't be offended I really enjoy your deck techs, I've already learned a ton from you. I slapped a like on it.

One rule I would change with Star Wars is that like Jabbas Palace, you should be able to pull 1 location per turn in the older formats. Like you would play a single land. It would help smooth out the game.

Love your content and I hope this question makes sense. Are most matches scene vs scene or is a hoth vs death star battle a decently competitive fight?

If you are facing ground opposition that is low on enclosed vehicles, try 2 or 3 copies of Ice Storm to mess with them.

Finally maybe I won’t go 0-6 in prem-hoth this year

This might be fun to play against one of my old friends decks of the period that ran Blizzard Walkers, Undercover spies, Ice Storms and I think Walker Garrisons. It was a pain, but this would be better suited than what I ran at the time. Plus this could be built as all White boardered!

I like to keep an all white boardered Light Side deck in my deck box. This would play to that nicely, though with a higher rare count than my decks of this sort typically muster. I’d have to drop the pair of Leader ships, but might find substitutes, maybe even a Mon Calamari Star Cruiser or two! Sounds fun and old school. Dantooine was a common space location for the dark side in my play group because of their ability to react to the site, so I never seriously considered it as my starting location. I guess I just didn’t own one early on either.

I love these videos. Hoth was where I got into the game, so this format shines for me. I guess I always assumed decks in this era would stack Senses and Alters. We always called a ceasefire on them.
