I'm in a bind this year. I'm a long time supporter of the Democratic Party who can no longer in good conscience support any Democratic candidate. But I really just can't bring myself to pull the lever for Trump, who is dangerously erratic and self-serving, prone to seeking exactly the same kind of petty political retribution of which he is supposed to be the target.
I was thinking of just sitting out this election, as much as it galls me to do so.
But, you know, if Tulsi were on the GOP ticket as VP, that might almost be enough to get me to reconsider.

Congratulations on shaking off the propaganda miasma. Unfortunately the Establishment uses Social Democrat anti-conservative claims to ensure the have media cover (up until they shaft Bernie).
I dislike LTC Gabbard's professed political leanings, which align with the same totalitarianism lovers in the Democrat Party (I can't use the "Pro" word because the Tub of Yew is quite *aGressive* about banning my comments using that word). However, she's a true patriot, unlike those of that political faction which shafted Bernie, and she's completely correct in this analysis. Citizens have started to realize, far too late, that the Establishment is bipartisan and intends to turn the proletariat into wage slaves.
Trump's conviction was essentially America's "Reichstag moment" though it was also used to conceal the EU passing legislation which forces "ESG" requirements on American companies. Too many people remain asleep, even after the time for them to wake up was 7 years ago.

A republic yes, but it functions as a democracy. The only alternative is oppressive socialism. Remember that electing a leader based on a majority vote IS democracy in action.
When the government routinely disregards and violates the most important constitutional principles and serves the interests of corporate and other institutional entities much more than those of the citizenry, it's not much of an intellectual leap to think that the term constitutional republic has only limited application (much less than it did two generations ago) to the reality of contemporary America.
No man who is corrupt, no man who condones corruption in others, can possibly do his duty by the community.

I teach Criminal Justice to high school students. We are currently covering the court system in the United States. After what I've seen over the last twenty-four hours, I go in this morning feeling like I am teaching a lie because what I am teaching is not what happened with this trial.
Then teach your students about what you see stop letting our children be taught lies
Teach them how dictators use the courts to imprison their political opponents.

It's One Count, a Misdemeanor Charged 34 times: 11 Installments, 11 Filings and 12 Recordings and the Statute of Limitations has expired but if it could be proven to have been done to cover up for another Crime then it could be a Felony.
The Judge instructed the Jurors to consider three possible Crimes, none of which have been proven and two of which are Federal Crimes and out of NY DA Alvin Braggs jurisdiction. He told the Jurors that they didn't have to agree to what the Crime was so if four said this, four said that and four said the other then that would be considered a "Unanimous Verdict"!?!
