Sam kept saying, saving Elizabeth's children from Jason, but she wanted a child by Jason and then wouldn't let him see his child. Sam was a hypocrite 🙄

GH rehabbed Sam from a ho to a housewife. It never made sense how they reconciled especially when she put his son’s life at risk. That was stupid of the GH writers but the writers on the show have tend to do and continue to write stupid storylines. It’s unbelievable. Out of all the people the writers paired this version of Jason with I liked him with Elizabeth the most and these videos help remind me of that. This was when GH was good!
Never liked Sam and especially with Jason. Glad he said what he did. Still remember this scene vividly after all these years. And the one where Jason tells Carly to shut up. Great scenes!
what sickens me today as a GH fan is how the executive overly pushed and pressed to have turned the role LIZ into this politician to campaign and defend Franco as if she is Kellyanne Conway defending that charlatan named Donald Trump! The real Liz would never invest into a relationship with Franco, Franco basically scarred and ruined Michael Quatermaines life and tormented Sam on her honey moon night! And then after all of what they have done to destroy Liz for years throwing Liz under a bus, they force Liz to be paired with Franco! the same monster who kidnapped Liz's baby Aiden the first 5 minutes Aiden was born! The idea of Liz being with Franco is pure Gag and to see the audience being forced to be numb and forced into this union all in the purpose to promote Franco has truly ruined the role of Liz! I would rather the role of Liz is killed off to save it from future damnation this horrible executive has done to destroy the role of Elizabeth Webber thus far! Good day!
I agree. I know it is only fiction, but I read and watch fiction to enjoy. General Hospital is not enjoyable. I hate seeing Liz and Franco and Jason and Sam together. I started watching General Hospital again when they bought back the real Jason (Steve Burton) but when they were always showing him with Sam and never with Elizabeth I stopped watching. The writers don't even let him have a relationship with his first born. I would rather see the character Jason with someone else than with Sam. Bring in a new character. Someone like Evangeline from One Life To Live. Now that was a couple John and Evangeline. To bad they messed that one up also because they were hot together. I can honestly say that Sam and Jason bore me. It is always the same Sam gets into trouble and Jason has to come to the rescue. If she is suppose to be this tough private detective why can't she get out of her own messes, and why is she wearing hooker shoes when she is chasing the bad guy. If you are going to introduce a strong woman make sure she can take care of herself. As least Elizabeth can get out of her problems and she is independent. I can't say the same thing about Sam. This is a character who makes women look like wimps and we need a man to come to our rescue all the time. Unlike Elizabeth who has really been on her own and knows how to survive and roll with the punches. Until they put Jason and Elizabeth back together kill off Franco, or give Jason a better love interest I will not watch that show ever again.

Lets not also forget Sam did the same thing to Carly when she was pregnant with Sonny's baby. So in Sam's mind, it's OK for her to deceive Carly, but Liz don't have the right to keep her child a secret from Sam.

Elizabeth could never and will never accept what Jason does for a living the danger is too high she has said that a thousand times over she likes the danger she likes the flirtation she likes being his friend but she cannot be in a relationship with him those are her words. She is infatuated with Jason but she cannot have a relationship with him not with children and not without children she can't handle it when Jason cannot share everything with her and that will never change Sam has always been able to accept Jason for who he is and what he does and does not try to change him in that regard so it's easy for Jason to connect with Sam in a way that he can't with others because everyone that he's dated before Sam couldn't handle his work and never coming first in Jasons life. Sam could do that she just couldn't handle the emotional scars from losing Sonnys baby and then the adoption fiasco and getting shot, turned away from her man finding out you cannot have kids and then finding out the most selfish woman ever is your birth mom, she had everyone arrested who tried to save your life after you were shot and emotionally blackmailed your lover to leave you......... What exactly kind of condition do you think you would be in? You would resent the hell out of the entire world and everyone in it because at this point everyone has lied to you everyone has treated you horribly doing and saying things and pulling strings behind your back and you did absolutely nothing wrong except for love a man that you wanted to spend the rest of your life with and have children with only to find out you cannot because you were shot and because of the worst mistake you ever made in your life by Sleeping with your mother's husband you accidentally gave all the ammunition for your lover to run to someone else and have sex with and get someone else pregnant and that person can give your man the one thing that you can never and to top it all off it was a mistake they use the condom and the condom didn't work because it was defective I mean what are the odds this poor girl was just demolished by everyone at the same time over like the span of a year I don't think anyone would come out of that very nicely and I really commend General Hospital 4 telling such a true story in what people do when they hurt because let's face it life is messy I do not agree with why the General Hospital writers broke up Sam and Jason but I really love the Fallout and the acting is superb and I really like how it connects So many actors together and storylines unlike today with broken storylines that don't match up with any other characters

I could be wrong here but I think she meant she gave up her mother meaning she walked away from Alexis because of how she treated everyone after Sam was shot she gave up Danny and stayed in Port Charles to be close to Sonny and the baby and after the baby died to be close to Jason and then Danny died because of the toxin in the water supply and that would not have happened if Sam didn't try to move Danny to port charles or had him visit or whatever. So in Sam's eyes she gave up the family she always wanted Danny and her mother and her sisters to be with this man in the mob because her family meaning Alexis did not agree. This woman was shot scarred forever told she can never have children had to fight her boyfriend to stay with her had to fight her mother to stay with her family had to fight her mother's cancer she just has to fight everyone so she feels she gave up her own identity she gave up everything to be with this man only to lose everything because of her stupid mistake was sleeping with Rick and that gave Jason cause to sleep with Elizabeth and therefore now they have a child I can totally see her point I would never put children in danger though but when you are hurting you do not make rational decisions ever

Sam did give up everything to be with Jason, that includes her safty. She wasn't shot because of Jason, she was shot because this is what she bargained for. So many people warned Sam about the dangers of his lifestyle, she didn't care. Sam knew all to well what she was getting into when wanting to be with Jason, so much so, that even when she got shot, she was begging Jason not to break up with her. So now she wants to put all this on Jason, but take it out on Liz.

Billy Miiler will turn out to be an imposter, ( with implanted memories) and when ( I really hope one day soon) Steve comes back as Jason, he will end up with Elizabeth. Since is wouldn't actually have been him she kept his identity from, he would not consider it as a hurt to him. Sam can keep the imposter.

+rhon715 I'm hoping that's what happens too. It's funny, because Steve is actually leaving the show he's on right now, so I hope sometime soon they can get him back to GH. They did a similar story like the one you described with the soap One Life to Live. Roger Howarth, who plays Franco on GH, was Todd Manning on OLTL. And he left the show and they had to replace him. But then after 8 years Roger decided to come back to the show and they did a whole thing with "two Todd's". In the storyline, Todd's mother kidnapped him and held him in some secret location. While there, he ended up learning her had an identical twin brother. His mother brainwashed the twin brother into believing he was Todd with all of his memories and every single detail about his life. And then had the twin go through surgery to change his face. So his mother sent his twin brother to take over Todd's life and do a little spy work for her and report to her every now and then. Although the twin didn't know he was being brainwashed or was doing any kind of work for his mother. So for 8 years the twin brother really believed he was Todd. I'm hoping they do something like that with Jason, especially now since Steve is leaving Y&R.
The gh writers needs to remember this. I love Kelly but not the character Sam. Kelly should have NEVER agreed to this storyline to be with the character Jason after this. That's just degrading.

See this scene right here tells me that the Jason in this scene would never go back to Sam. Somehow I think when he went to recuse Michael and Kristina in Mexico something happen to him and Sam know's it.This is the Jason that would never let anyone hurt his son ever.
It's all about forgiveness people if you don't have the capacity and compassion to forgive then you are going to forever be alone in this world because everybody makes mistakes is called being human nobody is perfect and some people make worse mistakes than others but that doesn't mean that they are worthless and will never amount to anything good. People change they learn from their mistakes and again if you have the compassion to forgive when something horrible happens to you you know what it feels like to do mean things to others so you take that in and learn to forgive someone that Did You Wrong. Pay it forward otherwise if you never forgive your telling the world that people don't matter once they've made a mistake and even if they made a colossal amount of mistakes people can still change and be a better person. This is also I think one of the big major reasons why the divorce rate is so high.

I would never associate/be besties with someone who caused the terrorizing of my children and kidnapping of my child. However, I could forgive that person. This storyline is unrealistic, especially when it comes to a person like Jason..
Nothing will happen he will continue to be a jerk being sonny's lapdog and leaving sam and danny behind like before. Jasam won't last long cause this is a soap happy couples don't usually last unless the couples leave the show for good.
He only did that with Sam after he found out she was the one to scare Elizabeth and her boys in the park then made herself look like the hero by saving them and when she watched Jake get kidnapped in the park and did nothing to save him then made herself look like the hero when she did actually save Jake from the Russians in 2009

Both times, Elizabeth didn’t want Jason to be with Sam. In 2012, Elizabeth was rejected by Jason because he wanted to get back with Sam and to prevent a reunion, the nurse deliberately deceived Jason by swapping DNA results and that allowed Heather Webber to abduct the child and while in her possession, Heather attempted to kill herself and the baby. However, Elizabeth took things to all new lows when she kept who she thought was Jason Morgan from his wife and child for seven months during which time she committed or attempted several other egregious crimes to further her plot to steal Jason from Sam which included fraud, theft, attempted murder, and marrying a man she knew was already married. All in yet another failed attempt by Elizabeth to steal Jason from Sam. So if Sam was wrong for her actions in 2007 and she took things too far then how would described Elizabeth's devious plots to steal Jason from Sam?
@misslittlebutfierce here is the difference regarding the dna test - she wanted revenge on Sam for the BS she did to Liz. But Liz realized within like, 5 minutes it wasn’t the right thing to do and came clean. Sam tried to actively keep Liz/Lucky/Jason from finding Jake. She wanted Jake to disappear - permanently and never fessed up to it until Jason already found out the truth. No comparison. And really - Sam is so much better of a character outside Jason. She is now protective of Liz and we can see that Liz sees Sam as a friend. My wish is that Liz and Jason just would of told Sam and Lucky upfront. I think Liz and Sam are so much better when having a United front than at each other’s throats. But Sam and Lucky were just too damn weak minded to handle the truth.

She was actually shot because of her mother, who defended Manny and got him out of prison, and put him in the position to be able to shoot her, so if she really wanted to blame someone it should be mommy, who also by the way caused her to have a stillborn baby, (Which was Sonny's btw) just to save Kristina's life (Who was also Sonny's) so yeah, misdirected anger much Sam.

Everyone Jason has been with has had a connection to Sonny in some way and gained approval from Sonny/Carly because they didn't interfere in their agenda or the mob! Robin-Sonny's little sister Courtney-Sonny's real sister Sam-Sonny's mistress mother of his child Elizabeth-His dream, safe place, his soul mate and best friend! For the love of God it is not illegal or against the law to not report a crime that doesn't make you the best of persons but that is not illegal now when Sam hired people too scared Elizabeth she should have been prosecuted for that but that was Jason's OWN blackmail for keeping Jake's paternity a secret.

Yikes. This scene hurts. The venom in Jason's voice. I actually feel a little bad for Sam here, even if she did deserve it. This scene, for me, was the final nail in the coffin for Jasam. I could never get on board with them again after this and I don't know how anyone else still could. I guess if you're okay with the people at GH rewriting the show's own history, but whatever.
My biggest issue is Jason couldn’t continue to be with Robin because she committed the worst sin in his eyes - she told the truth about AJ being Michael’s son. But then he goes back with Sam after she did two horrible things to Jake? The writers suck.

This storyline wasn't because of the actor or actors. They don't get to decide much less overrule what the show runners plan. I think everyone, no matter which characters/couples we like or dislike should draw a clear distinction between character and actor, always respecting the hard work that these actors put in to bring the story life for us.
Believe it or not that's what makes these two a good couple. They both understand where each other was coming from at the time and have enough decency and love for each other to allow forgiveness to happen. Everybody makes horrible horrible mistakes in their lives nobody is perfect and everybody deserves a second chance otherwise what's the point in living? I would also like to point out that Sam is the one that saved Jake when he was kidnapped from the Russians by getting him out the back window before the place blew up from a bomb while Jason was shooting up the place trying to get his son back. Sam could have died herself in this daring rescue so I think she more than made up for her mistakes and that is her therapy and all for free which of course makes forgiveness a hell of a lot easier don't you think? And lastly I have to point out that that whole shooting Minaj with the song and bullets flying cut to Elizabeth breaking down at her Art Studio with a knife ripping up her pictures as lucky rushes to consoled her that song will forever remind me of that whole scene. I love the entire thing how they set it up how the music worked how they slowed everything down and then spent it up at the end it was just perfect this again goes to the beautiful writing directing and acting that this show was back then and everybody wishes could be today you know the actors can bring it they just need the writing so many talents are being wasted today due to crappy writing not all of it is horrible there's a small piece that is fantastic but it doesn't jive with everything else because it's not seamless like it used to be during these days you can see why General Hospital is broken now and not just because of the pandemic only a few actors really get some meaty parts to do some awesome acting but it's only during sweeps that this happens which obviously is why the soap is suffering in my opinion

Writers had no clue what they were doing when they put them back together! If u hate someone enough to tell them u will kill them and mean it, that's the end of it, no getting back together or anything! Jason has never been like that towards liz and vice versa! The real Jason would have NEVER have gotten back with Sam. The Jason who could not forgive Robin for years for telling everyone that Micheal was not his son. The Jason who once you got on his bad side you stayed there for years. The Jason who could never forgive anyone who would harm a child. I am waiting for THAT Jason to show up again. After watching this scene I am aghast once again on how Jason could go back to Sam and have a child with her. Unbelievable
bellanton12 I am hoping when Sbu returns we will see the traits of Jason. Billy's take on Jason lacks the warmth and forgiveness that Sbu exhibited. It's like the writers decided to wipe all the years liason shared and he only remembers parts of his life. It's unrealistic as far as the character we as veteran GH fans had grown to love. Maurice said on twitter a few days ago that Sbu is Jason. We shall see how they play this out.
I love all the people who say that sam and Jason belong together, that elizabeth is soooooo awful. How soon they forget that Sam got knocked up by sonny on purpose and told him that unless he paid her then she'd get an abortion. Yeah she's a great person.
I understand what you are saying but you can't forget that Jason lived with Sam the entire time she was pregnant and fell for her during that time and was there during the death of her baby and had to tell her about the death of her baby. Talk about bonding

I'm not even a Sam fan but Sam didn't get pregnant on purpose (remember there was the possibility Jax was the father as well). Yes Sam was a horrible person for a very long time, even through this phase. It was until she had Danny that she was actually a decent person

Hot take Jason was never good enough for Sam or Elizabeth he seriously played with both of them, made promises he didn't keep to both and always prioritized Carson's family over the families he created with them. It wasn't a sad fate that he ended up alone it was an inevitable well deserved fate.

Autumn Barber it's literally because of the Jason/Sam fan base throwing super big hissy fits over Jason/Sam not being together and how Jason was "treating Sam horribly because of Liz" that they kept threatening the writers to put Jason/Sam back together. And that they'd all stop watching if they didn't. They started hating and seriously threatening Becky Herbst(Elizabeth) and it got so bad that Kelly (Who played Sam) had to step in and defend Becky saying that it was just a show. But that's the reason why the writers put Jason back with Sam, because of the rabid Jason/Sam fans.
Because the jasam fans out numbered the liason fans by a large amount, so the writer went with what was more popular and the fans were just nuts. I never wanted them to get back together, and now SB is back on the show and the writers are doing it again. I hate it. Keep Sam with Drew, they are better together.

Sam was claiming that she gave up her future to have a family to be with Jason. Because she was shot and couldn't have children back then all because of Jason. I felt for Sam during these times. She's 100% right and it's this scene right here that makes me want Sam with Drew now.
She was shot by one of Jason's enemy's. Had she not chosen to stay with Jason, she would not have been shot. Jason was the target but Sam was walking toward him in greeting when the shot was fired.
I do not know exactly how many bed Partners Sam has had in her entire life but she has said she has married and conned five men before moving to Port Charles. No I don't know if she's slept with Jax but probably so but she definitely slept with Sonny Jason Ric Patrick and Drew. Not really a lot of people when you think about how long she has been in Port Charles and most of them she was in a relationship with and let's please remember that she was a con artist because she was trying to take care of Danny the wonderful handicapped sibling that turned out not to be her blood-related sibling which ended up being who is my real mother storyline next

And despite all that after the RUSSIANS were defeated, SASAHA wanted revenge on JASON so she then came after SAM! Which proves all along the RUSSIANS wanted SAM and SAM was the target it wasn't JAKE it was SAM! So basically instead of sam not speaking up and telling JASON and LIZ at that time that she should have been at POLICE CUSTODY in POLICE PROTECTION! That was on SAM, so her whole situation of saving JAKE is involuntarily sabotages itself she is responsible for disregarding Lucky's orders from stepping away from her cover before her cover got blown at the Karpov RUSSIAN ware house! And Sam is responsible because she knew they were after and instead of refusing to be around LIZ and the kids Sam stupidly agreed to be around them when Sam should have been in the PCD next to a squadron of COPS! Look at MAXIE in 2018 remember NATHAN and MAXIE was pregnant and she had a whole squad of COPS ready to protect MAXIE! SO what is this hypocrisy to see anyone disagree that Sam knew where she should have been but she chose to ride it out and force herself around liz and the kids which lead to the russians coming after Sam and after liz's kid jake! So that is on SAM!! Jake never would have been kidnapped in the first place had Sam just stayed away from Liz and the kids to begin with! Liz didn't even have time to mourn the alleged loss of JAKE with JASON for more than 5-7 scenes among Jan 2011 through JULY 2011! In fact in July 2011 they have Jason who just lost his child more concerned of putting a ring over sam's finger! then when liz finally has the chance to talk to jason about the loss of Jake, Liz goes to the pent house and sam has a ring on her finger giving Liz a glass of water and the ring shines through the glass indicating to Liz that Sam has won!!! What was the point of that!!! Jake has been alleged dead for more than 6-7 months not even up to a year and they have jason marrying sam and then talks of having a new baby to replace Jake! Disgusting!! That was a very difficult year to watch GH the lengths these executive took to errode the role of liz as if it is completely okay because as long as JASAM is being pushed out it's magically a HIT right... shaking my head (smh)...!!!! Okay I'm going to try this again. Every single person that Jason has tried to date before Sam could never accept his job his silence him not being able to put the woman first in his life because of his business obligations and the danger that comes with it. Sam is the only person that didn't care what he did for a living who accepted him for who he is and loved him anyway and didn't try to change him in that regard. What she could not handle is the emotional scars from losing Sonny's baby, the failed adoption Fiasco, falling hard for Jason and taking care of him when he was shot or simply letting him be himself.That's unconditional love. When Sam was shot, her boyfriend left her, her real mother was someone she hated because of her selfishness and Sam found out after she was shot her mother had everyone arrested that tried to save her life, emotionally blackmailed her boyfriend to stay away, tried to play the sympathy card when she had cancer, was also told she can no longer have children, she lost Danny to the toxin water storyline so she no longer has a brother to look out for, this woman has no purpose anymore. All she ever did was love Jason and wanted him to love her back unconditionally and when she found out that he could not do that it hurt her beyond belief because she's always been left behind her whole life and Jason knew that and walked away anyway therefore hurting her extremely deep. Then one night of disturbing weakness and pissed off she got drunk and slept with Ric giving Jason a reason to sleep with Elizabeth and although he used a condom it was defective and got Elizabeth pregnant and now Sam's worst enemy gave her boyfriend the one thing that she cannot ever do and Jason lied about it to her. Sam's only mistake was after she found out the truth she did not tell Jason she knew and exacerbated her pain. When someone is hurt that much by every single person they have ever known in their life of course they're going to lash out and hurt the people that who have hurt them the most you are not rational when you are hurting like that and kudos to General Hospital for knowing the difference life is messy and people acting irationally when they are hurt and Jason totally understood Sam's pain because of his lies up until the point where the children were involved. That's where Sam went wrong but everyone makes horrible mistakes and everybody deserves a second chance otherwise what's the point in living?
So tell me GH writers, how the heck you were able to put this behind Jason and Sam enough so they married??? There is no way to get back to a loving trusting spot after this. Elizabeth has been the only person that Jason can truly trust not only with his life but with his son. The new writers at GH need to have the new Jason remember this so Sam can finally be out of his life.

That was stupid of the GH writers but the writers on the show have tend to do and continue to write stupid storylines. It’s unbelievable. I agree. I know it is only fiction, but I read and watch fiction to enjoy. General Hospital is not enjoyable. I hate seeing Liz and Franco and Jason and Sam together. I started watching General Hospital again when they bought back the real Jason (Steve Burton) but when they were always showing him with Sam and never with Elizabeth I stopped watching. The writers don't even let him have a relationship with his first born. I would rather see the character Jason with someone else than with Sam. Bring in a new character. Someone like Evangeline from One Life To Live. Now that was a couple John and Evangeline. To bad they messed that one up also because they were hot together. I can honestly say that Sam and Jason bore me. It is always the same Sam gets into trouble and Jason has to come to the rescue. If she is suppose to be this tough private detective why can't she get out of her own messes, and why is she wearing hooker shoes when she is chasing the bad guy. If you are going to introduce a strong woman make sure she can take care of herself. As least Elizabeth can get out of her problems and she is independent. I can't say the same thing about Sam. This is a character who makes women look like wimps and we need a man to come to our rescue all the time. Unlike Elizabeth who has really been on her own and knows how to survive and roll with the punches. Until they put Jason and Elizabeth back together kill off Franco, or give Jason a better love interest I will not watch that show ever again.

She is infatuated with Jason but she cannot have a relationship with him not with children and not without children she can't handle it when Jason cannot share everything with her and that will never change Sam has always been able to accept Jason for who he is and what he does and does not try to change him in that regard so it's easy for Jason to connect with Sam in a way that he can't with others because everyone that he's dated before Sam couldn't handle his work and never coming first in Jasons life. You would resent the hell out of the entire world and everyone in it because at this point everyone has lied to you everyone has treated you horribly doing and saying things and pulling strings behind your back and you did absolutely nothing wrong except for love a man that you wanted to spend the rest of your life with and have children with only to find out you cannot because you were shot and because of the worst mistake you ever made in your life by Sleeping with your mother's husband you accidentally gave all the ammunition for your lover to run to someone else and have sex with and get someone else pregnant and that person can give your man the one thing that you can never and to top it all off it was a mistake they use the condom and the condom didn't work because it was defective I mean what are the odds this poor girl was just demolished by everyone at the same time over like the span of a year I don't think anyone would come out of that very nicely and I really commend General Hospital 4 telling such a true story in what people do when they hurt because let's face it life is messy I do not agree with why the General Hospital writers broke up Sam and Jason but I really love the Fallout and the acting is superb and I really like how it connects So many actors together and storylines unlike today with broken storylines that don't match up with any other characters

I could be wrong here but I think she meant she gave up her mother meaning she walked away from Alexis because of how she treated everyone after Sam was shot she gave up Danny and stayed in Port Charles to be close to Sonny and the baby and after the baby died to be close to Jason and then Danny died because of the toxin in the water supply and that would not have happened if Sam didn't try to move Danny to port charles or had him visit or whatever.
So in Sam's eyes she gave up the family she always wanted Danny and her mother and her sisters to be with this man in the mob because her family meaning Alexis did not agree.

Sam did give up everything to be with Jason, that includes her safty. She wasn't shot because of Jason, she was shot because this is what she bargained for. So many people warned Sam about the dangers of his lifestyle, she didn't care. Sam knew all to well what she was getting into when wanting to be with Jason, so much so, that even when she got shot, she was begging Jason not to break up with her. So now she wants to put all this on Jason, but take it out on Liz.

+rhon715 I'm hoping that's what happens too. It's funny, because Steve is actually leaving the show he's on right now, so I hope sometime soon they can get him back to GH. They did a similar story like the one you described with the soap One Life to Live. Roger Howarth, who plays Franco on GH, was Todd Manning on OLTL. And he left the show and they had to replace him. But then after 8 years Roger decided to come back to the show and they did a whole thing with "two Todd's". In the storyline, Todd's mother kidnapped him and held him in some secret location. While there, he ended up learning her had an identical twin brother. His mother brainwashed the twin brother into believing he was Todd with all of his memories and every single detail about his life. And then had the twin go through surgery to change his face. So his mother sent his twin brother to take over Todd's life and do a little spy work for her and report to her every now and then. Although the twin didn't know he was being brainwashed or was doing any kind of work for his mother. So for 8 years the twin brother really believed he was Todd. I'm hoping they do something like that with Jason, especially now since Steve is leaving Y&R.
The gh writers needs to remember this. I love Kelly but not the character Sam. Kelly should have NEVER agreed to this storyline to be with the character Jason after this. That's just degrading.

It's all about forgiveness people if you don't have the capacity and compassion to forgive then you are going to forever be alone in this world because everybody makes mistakes is called being human nobody is perfect and some people make worse mistakes than others but that doesn't mean that they are worthless and will never amount to anything good. People change they learn from their mistakes and again if you have the compassion to forgive when something horrible happens to you you know what it feels like to do mean things to others so you take that in and learn to forgive someone that Did You Wrong. Pay it forward otherwise if you never forgive your telling the world that people don't matter once they've made a mistake and even if they made a colossal amount of mistakes people can still change and be a better person.
This is also I think one of the big major reasons why the divorce rate is so high.

I would never associate/be besties with someone who caused the terrorizing of my children and kidnapping of my child. However, I could forgive that person.

In 2012, Elizabeth was rejected by Jason because he wanted to get back with Sam and to prevent a reunion, the nurse deliberately deceived Jason by swapping DNA results and that allowed Heather Webber to abduct the child and while in her possession, Heather attempted to kill herself and the baby. However, Elizabeth took things to all new lows when she kept who she thought was Jason Morgan from his wife and child for seven months during which time she committed or attempted several other egregious crimes to further her plot to steal Jason from Sam which included fraud, theft, attempted murder, and marrying a man she knew was already married. All in yet another failed attempt by Elizabeth to steal Jason from Sam.
So if Sam was wrong for her actions in 2007 and she took things too far then how would described Elizabeth's devious plots to steal Jason from Sam?
@misslittlebutfierce here is the difference regarding the dna test - she wanted revenge on Sam for the BS she did to Liz. But Liz realized within like, 5 minutes it wasn’t the right thing to do and came clean. Sam tried to actively keep Liz/Lucky/Jason from finding Jake. She wanted Jake to disappear - permanently and never fessed up to it until Jason already found out the truth. No comparison.
And really - Sam is so much better of a character outside Jason. She is now protective of Liz and we can see that Liz sees Sam as a friend.
My wish is that Liz and Jason just would of told Sam and Lucky upfront. I think Liz and Sam are so much better when having a United front than at each other’s throats. But Sam and Lucky were just too damn weak minded to handle the truth.

Yikes. This scene hurts. The venom in Jason's voice. I actually feel a little bad for Sam here, even if she did deserve it. This scene, for me, was the final nail in the coffin for Jasam. I could never get on board with them again after this and I don't know how anyone else still could. I guess if you're okay with the people at GH rewriting the show's own history, but whatever.
My biggest issue is Jason couldn’t continue to be with Robin because she committed the worst sin in his eyes - she told the truth about AJ being Michael’s son. But then he goes back with Sam after she did two horrible things to Jake? The writers suck.

The second he told Sam he was going to kill her that should of been the nail in the coffin like Misty stated- why would the writers have her go back to someone that not only just said it, but meant it? I think Sam is a great character on her own outside of Jason.

This storyline wasn't because of the actor or actors. They don't get to decide much less overrule what the show runners plan. I think everyone, no matter which characters/couples we like or dislike should draw a clear distinction between character and actor, always respecting the hard work that these actors put in to bring the story life for us.

Believe it or not that's what makes these two a good couple. They both understand where each other was coming from at the time and have enough decency and love for each other to allow forgiveness to happen. I would also like to point out that Sam is the one that saved Jake when he was kidnapped from the Russians by getting him out the back window before the place blew up from a bomb while Jason was shooting up the place trying to get his son back. Sam could have died herself in this daring rescue so I think she more than made up for her mistakes and that is her therapy and all for free which of course makes forgiveness a hell of a lot easier don't you think?
And lastly I have to point out that that whole shooting Minaj with the song and bullets flying cut to Elizabeth breaking down at her Art Studio with a knife ripping up her pictures as lucky rushes to consoled her that song will forever remind me of that whole scene. I love the entire thing how they set it up how the music worked how they slowed everything down and then spent it up at the end it was just perfect this again goes to the beautiful writing directing and acting that this show was back then and everybody wishes could be today you know the actors can bring it they just need the writing so many talents are being wasted today due to crappy writing not all of it is horrible there's a small piece that is fantastic but it doesn't jive with everything else because it's not seamless like it used to be during these days you can see why General Hospital is broken now and not just because of the pandemic only a few actors really get some meaty parts to do some awesome acting but it's only during sweeps that this happens which obviously is why the soap is suffering in my opinion

The real Jason would have NEVER have gotten back with Sam. The Jason who could not forgive Robin for years for telling everyone that Micheal was not his son. The Jason who once you got on his bad side you stayed there for years. The Jason who could never forgive anyone who would harm a child. I am waiting for THAT Jason to show up again. After watching this scene I am aghast once again on how Jason could go back to Sam and have a child with her. Unbelievable

bellanton12 I am hoping when Sbu returns we will see the traits of Jason. Billy's take on Jason lacks the warmth and forgiveness that Sbu exhibited. It's like the writers decided to wipe all the years liason shared and he only remembers parts of his life. It's unrealistic as far as the character we as veteran GH fans had grown to love. Maurice said on twitter a few days ago that Sbu is Jason. We shall see how they play this out.

She was a very successful conwoman who cheated men out of a lot of money by making them fall in love with her. Jason was always the protector. He wanted those in his life to be safe and protected. I'm not even a Sam fan but Sam didn't get pregnant on purpose (remember there was the possibility Jax was the father as well). Yes Sam was a horrible person for a very long time, even through this phase. It was until she had Danny that she was actually a decent person

Hot take Jason was never good enough for Sam or Elizabeth he seriously played with both of them, made promises he didn't keep to both and always prioritized Carson's family over the families he created with them. It wasn't a sad fate that he ended up alone it was an inevitable well deserved fate.

Autumn Barber it's literally because of the Jason/Sam fan base throwing super big hissy fits over Jason/Sam not being together and how Jason was "treating Sam horribly because of Liz" that they kept threatening the writers to put Jason/Sam back together. And that they'd all stop watching if they didn't. They started hating and seriously threatening Becky Herbst(Elizabeth) and it got so bad that Kelly (Who played Sam) had to step in and defend Becky saying that it was just a show. But that's the reason why the writers put Jason back with Sam, because of the rabid Jason/Sam fans.
Because the jasam fans out numbered the liason fans by a large amount, so the writer went with what was more popular and the fans were just nuts. I never wanted them to get back together, and now SB is back on the show and the writers are doing it again. I hate it. Keep Sam with Drew, they are better together.

She was shot by one of Jason's enemy's. Had she not chosen to stay with Jason, she would not have been shot. Jason was the target but Sam was walking toward him in greeting when the shot was fired.

liz Putting his child in danger because sam simply because jason didn't love sam enough during this time to tell sam about his new born baby and what went on with elizabeth!! that's how you know Sam is selfish and not as understanding as Jason! jason easily understood and stupidly forgave Sam for cheating on him with Sam's own's mother husband Rick who is a monster! But Sam couldn't even forgive jason for having a child with another woman and keeping it a secret! instead sam decides to believe the sins of the father must be repaid upon the children! After all that is CASSIDINE way of HELENA and SAM basically did the same to JASON and LIZ as if SAM was HELENA and so far Sam has gotten away with what she did to JAKE and CAMERON for now more than 13-14 years! I love it when they say, Sam saved JAKE from the RUSSIAN kidnapping!! The only reason RUSSIAN even got that far is because they identified SAM through Sam being sonny's mysterious and they tailed and followed Sam's location! Had sam been in police custody and away from LIZ and her kids! there's no way the russians would have came for LIZ and her kids!!! Liz was told to stay away from Jason and that is what she did after that hug to Jason!!!
But instead Sam was around LIZ being stalked by the russians and stupid LUCKY who already knew that Sam's cover was blown said they should hide in a cabin!
Meanwhile the RUSSIANS through SASAH were highly motivated to stalk SAM because of SONNY who killed KARPOV!! So with SASAHA taking over they motivation was SAM's head! And despite all that after the RUSSIANS were defeated, SASAHA wanted revenge on JASON so she then came after SAM!
Which proves all along the RUSSIANS wanted SAM and SAM was the target it wasn't JAKE it was SAM!
So basically instead of sam not speaking up and telling JASON and LIZ at that time that she should have been at POLICE CUSTODY in POLICE PROTECTION! That was on SAM, so her whole situation of saving JAKE is involuntarily sabotages itself she is responsible for disregarding Lucky's orders from stepping away from her cover before her cover got blown at the Karpov RUSSIAN ware house! And Sam is responsible because she knew they were after and instead of refusing to be around LIZ and the kids Sam stupidly agreed to be around them when Sam should have been in the PCD next to a squadron of COPS!
Look at MAXIE in 2018 remember NATHAN and MAXIE was pregnant and she had a whole squad of COPS ready to protect MAXIE! SO what is this hypocrisy to see anyone disagree that Sam knew where she should have been but she chose to ride it out and force herself around liz and the kids which lead to the russians coming after Sam and after liz's kid jake! So that is on SAM!! Jake never would have been kidnapped in the first place had Sam just stayed away from Liz and the kids to begin with! Then these executives have Carly, and Maxie pressuring Sam to give jason a baby! Liz didn't even have time to mourn the alleged loss of JAKE with JASON for more than 5-7 scenes among Jan 2011 through JULY 2011! In fact in July 2011 they have Jason who just lost his child more concerned of putting a ring over sam's finger! then when liz finally has the chance to talk to jason about the loss of Jake, Liz goes to the pent house and sam has a ring on her finger giving Liz a glass of water and the ring shines through the glass indicating to Liz that Sam has won!!! What was the point of that!!! Jake has been alleged dead for more than 6-7 months not even up to a year and they have jason marrying sam and then talks of having a new baby to replace Jake! Disgusting!! That was a very difficult year to watch GH the lengths these executive took to errode the role of liz as if it is completely okay because as long as JASAM is being pushed out it's magically a HIT right... shaking my head (smh)...!!!! Meanwhile the concept of that story line was about
a new baby that jason wasn't ready for but despite all that michael is getting messed up over because sam introduced abby to michael's life! Which didn't help much other than to force michael to acknowledge what franco did to him! And now in 2019 FRANCO that monster is raising jake in jason morgan's face as Franco is with LIz!! the same monster who kidnapped AIden the first 5 minutes Aiden was born is now in a relationship with Liz, how terrible!! Do you see how the past and present executive of GH has destroyed ELIZABETH and they want us to keep watching general hospital!! thank god for LIASONSTECKYCHANNEL a channel that just shows the truth for what it is!

Every single person that Jason has tried to date before Sam could never accept his job his silence him not being able to put the woman first in his life because of his business obligations and the danger that comes with it. Sam is the only person that didn't care what he did for a living who accepted him for who he is and loved him anyway and didn't try to change him in that regard. What she could not handle is the emotional scars from losing Sonny's baby, the failed adoption Fiasco, falling hard for Jason and taking care of him when he was shot or simply letting him be himself.That's unconditional love. When Sam was shot, her boyfriend left her, her real mother was someone she hated because of her selfishness and Sam found out after she was shot her mother had everyone arrested that tried to save her life, emotionally blackmailed her boyfriend to stay away, tried to play the sympathy card when she had cancer, was also told she can no longer have children, she lost Danny to the toxin water storyline so she no longer has a brother to look out for, this woman has no purpose anymore.
All she ever did was love Jason and wanted him to love her back unconditionally and when she found out that he could not do that it hurt her beyond belief because she's always been left behind her whole life and Jason knew that and walked away anyway therefore hurting her extremely deep. Then one night of disturbing weakness and pissed off she got drunk and slept with Ric giving Jason a reason to sleep with Elizabeth and although he used a condom it was defective and got Elizabeth pregnant and now Sam's worst enemy gave her boyfriend the one thing that she cannot ever do and Jason lied about it to her. Sam's only mistake was after she found out the truth she did not tell Jason she knew and exacerbated her pain. When someone is hurt that much by every single person they have ever known in their life of course they're going to lash out and hurt the people that who have hurt them the most you are not rational when you are hurting like that and kudos to General Hospital for knowing the difference life is messy and people acting irationally when they are hurt and Jason totally understood Sam's pain because of his lies up until the point where the children were involved. That's where Sam went wrong but everyone makes horrible mistakes and everybody deserves a second chance otherwise what's the point in living?

Elizabeth has been the only person that Jason can truly trust not only with his life but with his son. The new writers at GH need to have the new Jason remember this so Sam can finally be out of his life.
Trish W Liz did the same thing to Sam by lying to Jason about Silas and then changing the dna. Because of Elizabeth Jason died not knowing Danny was his son!
