My trick for skipping the Peter Pan line? Each visit, it seems one of my rides always breaks down and needs to be evacuated. When this happens, ask a cast member for a fast pass. The pass they will give you will be good for any ride in the park - including Peter Pan (which of course does not have a fast pass line).
This ride still brings back the feeling I got when I was a kid. It's a magical feeling with the music and everything....
I think you hit it on the head. That is one of the best reason this ride is soooo great. It invokes that magical feeling.

with the opening day attractions, it is true that the Imaginer's wanted you to be the main character, then the up roar happened and that's now why we see our favorite characters on the rides either once or twice.

Went to Disney LAND in 1972 when I was 7 years old, and I was so amazed at the Peter Pan ride. Fast forward to 1993 and I took my young daughter to Disney WORLD. Went on the Peter Pan ride, and I found myself getting so excited again to be able to share the experience with her. Silly, perhaps, but the memory has stuck with me nearly my entire life. I would dream about flying when I was a kid, and this ride made that experience come true for me.

I was in this vlog! I was in the red shirt at 0:45 in line behind Chris thinking “ this guy is nuts!” Now that I have been following Provost Park Pass I have learned so much about Disney, their benches and their water fountains. (Plus much more). I will now look out for Chris whenever we are back in the park. (Could be years). Thanks for the vlogs!
In WDW when I was there 2 weeks ago, I found out that Peter Pan's flight would be closed for the whole time, minus the first day and we had plans with a whole big group of my family, so... my mom, dad, sister, brother in law and I rope dropped at the Magic Kingdom (Thank you Park Hopper!) and got to walk on Peter Pan, with only a 15 minute wait, it was crazy!

Loved this video! You're right, of course, about Tinkerbell. My friend, Margaret Kerry was the original model for Tinkerbell. She has written a marvelous book about her story. She's one amazing lady! She is often visiting Walt's Carolwood Barn for book signings, etc.

Being a purely Walt Disney World guy myself (way too far from California) I found the whole Captain Hook Hook's switched interesting. Although people like to think of Disney World and Disneyland as the same, they are a lot different, especially since Disneyland gets the Haunted Holiday Mansion. Lucky you.
I am going to agree with you about lots of differences. And yes Haunted Holiday Mansion is pretty sweet. :D

Whoa! Another short one! Not that I'm complaining (well maybe a little :D ) I now have new things to look for! I didn't know about the croc, nor John, Wendy Peter etc on Big Ben! Also, never had the chance to ride it since they have the interactive app! As I have said so many times, Love the videos (even the short ones) and love the PPP Crew!

I just found your channel. I love all the information you give us. This was my favorite ride as a kid and I still love it. I went on it last year, but that was the first time in about five years, because the line is always soooo long. But you're right, it's one of the best rides there!!!

went on this ride christmas eve it was busy, but waited outside, the castle until they dropped the rope, and was the third ship through, first time at Disneyland and first ride I went on. :)

Diz Paris Peter Pan line moves faster because the ride vehicles have a back seat, seat six on cushioned seats and run faster than the other Diz parks.

Dad and I have both been on Peter Pan (He had been on it more times then me) and we have NEVER been able to see anything but darkness and a few lights here and there. I don't get what's so amazing.

Peter Pan's Flight is one of our favorite rides at the park, as well as one of our inspirations for our show. It is such a magical attraction that is always worth the wait, even though it is a 2 and a half minute ride. The attraction indeed has the coolest Hidden Mickey ever and one of our top favorites! So glad that you made of video of this attraction. Thank you. You never cease to amazing us with your positivit and knowledge. 😃✨
P.S. One thing that we believe is that the sails of each flying pirate ship vehicle represents a character from the film due to each of the different color schemes chosen. Green for Peter Pan, Blue for Wendy, Red for Captain Hook, Blue and White striped for Mr. Smee, and finally Gold for Tinker Bell.

Nice secrets about what goes on on the second start to the right! Well, I'm hoping I get some major Pixie dust next week. I am not anywhere near getting my hopes up( I didn't get picked for Spring, but if at first you don't succeed),but I would really love to be able to to make more magic at Disney and someone ( wonder who) has a phone interview on Monday to return to the DCP. I'm also going to ask to be considered for DL above WDW this time( a wayyyy more selective,as if World wasn't selective enough,gig to get)! If I don't make it for Fall( get rejected pretty quickly) I will probably apply for Summer Alumni too( I'm a glutton for "punishment"). As Disney said"Keep Moving Forward." When I was a kid we went over to Disneyland when I was 5, and then again at 7. I did most of the rides no problem - I took my grandparents on Dumbo a dozen times. And then we went to Peter Pan, I loved the movie, Peter Pan is great, this is great.
AND THEN YOU DROP.
That first drop, my mother claims I basically climbed over her head screaming. In the dark, looking like you're faaaaar above london, and the ship takes a nose dive NO THANK YOU.

Cali’s Peter pan looks 10 times better than ours in Florida.
I can assure you, there are no cardboard cut outs inside of fantasyland attractions, they’re all made out of sturdy wood materials.

Margaret Kerry was the model for Tinker Bell back in 1953. Mark Davis was the Animator for Tinker Bell. Mark liked her so much that he invited her back to do the modeling and the voice of the red-haired mermaid in the Neverland lagoon scene. You know that one that says: "We were only trying to drowned her" Margaret Kerry is now 89 years young and she is the most energetic speaker you will ever meet. She is a gem of a person. He forgot to mention that damn ride keep on breaking down at Disneyland because the carts are always out of sync. Last time I was there I was close to the front and waited another half an hour because the ride would stop itself and the employee had to keep rebooting the ride. ...lol
Easy fix for the sword fight, switch the positions of Peter and Hook so the hook can be on the proper hand 🤦 Wow I'm an Imagineer!
