Hey Chris! I love the music and of course the coins from that time period, Haha. My channel is full of songs from the early 1900’s, which resembles the same music heard on Mainstreet, USA and King Arthur’s Carrousel. All of my songs are played on the 1920’s record player I own. Please check it out!
Carousels are my favourite ride. If I ever get to go to Disneyland this will be the ride I go on the most!

I took my 6 year old daughter to Disneyland for the first time last September. We did not get a chance to ride the Carousel until the park was almost closed (but we had been wanting to ride it all day). While in line my daughter mentioned the special horse that was talked about in your Fantasyland video, I forgot it's name and what it looked like, so I quickly looked it up on my phone. Jingles! Of course! So when it was our turn to get in the ride and pick our horses we ran as fast as we could to Jingles, only to have a young lady in her early 20's push my daughter out of the way so she could ride Jingles (as my daughter was getting on the horse!). I told the young lady that my daughter really wanted to ride that horse, the young lady look at me and said "so what!" My daughter started to cry, I told we had to get on a horse as the ride would soon start, she cried the whole ride, and was just devastated! We didn't have any time to try and ride the ride again that day (as the park was closing at 9pm). It was so hard watching my daughter be so sad riding the amazing Disneyland Carousel. It made me sad :( We live 18 hours away, so a trip to Disneyland doesn't come often. We do know that next time we will make the Carousel ride first thing when we get there, and hopefully Jingles is not being worked on and it is there that day. I LOVE Provost Park Pass! You guys are my favorite RUclips Channel and the only one I have ever Subscribed to.

When my daughter was five we rode the carrousel. I had motion sickness. But it was worth it to see my daughter have a fun time. Her memory is a good one.

That at 6:38 is a replica facade of a Wurlitzer 157 band organ that once was at this carousel until about 1990. The actual organ worked until the 1970s and was later sold to a private collection and a fiberglass replica was made for this carousel so it still has a presence. A cool hidden Easter egg that most may not know is that the 65 key Gavioli organ behind the Dumbo ride (which you show in your video about the Dumbo ride) was synced to the piped in soundtrack music played at the neighboring King Arthur's Carousel from 1983-2005 when the organ could still play live. The organ basically played the same thing as on the ride soundtrack played then at the carousel which was made from that organ before being at placed the Dumbo ride. It was done with a two track system, one playing the band organ audio from the soundtrack through speakers for the carousel and the other with corresponding analog data to play the Gavioli organ live remotely. So basically the organ was kept in sync with the speakers with this set up and allowed for the same music to be heard at both the carousel and at the Dumbo ride but from two different sources simultaneously. Today speakers in both rides provide the music. The new King Arthur's Carousel soundtrack however keeps the 65 key Gavioli organ silent as it doesn't have the analog data to play it live.
Hi Provost team! Not directly related to this particular video, but I just wanted to say thank you for having absolutely stellar videos. My friend and I watched all of them this past month (partially in preparation for our group of friends' trip there, partially because they're so fun to watch), and the knowledge greatly increased our enjoyment of the park! We ended up eating, drinking, and doing a lot of things we definitely would not have done had we not watched your videos.
We were also delighted to realize that we could see sections of Galaxy's Edge both on the Disneyland Railroad and the highest peak of Big Thunder Mountain. It made us quite excited for your future video about it (since we won't be going as soon as it opens).

I have a deep personal history with this carousel. My great-grandfather whom I rode this for the first time with(granted I was two, but it's still special) was the painter for the murals and some of the horses. He said he put the gold leafing on the original painting of Jingles. My grandma was at the park opening day and still takes us to see Grandpa Sterling's favorite ride

I got to ride Jingles for the first time last year and it was amazing. Jingles is such an amazing horse, I never knew there were hidden mickeys on her, so awesome. I found your channel a few days ago and I love it so far.
5:32 they actually still let kids pull the sword out but it's always random when they do it, I saw it once on a Justin scarred vlog that was I believe 2018

The Carousel came from Sunnyside Amusement Park in Toronto. The park was closed due to the construction of the Gardiner Expressway. Fortunately some of the buildings from Sunnyside are still present such as the Bathing Pavilion and the Palais Royale.

I love King Author Carrousel, I really love to ride on Jingles, and I heard what you say about one of the horses heads to get refurbishment, I have a believing thought how these horses do get remodel, I imagine that the horses head to the Carousel horse fictional sanctuary to unwind from their galloping while there saddles, flowers, and vests are doing some magic work

Find it funny how the ride is called King Arthur's Carousel yet it tells the story of Sleeping Beauty. Also, here are a few more fun facts about the attraction. There is a goof up in the ride. If you look closely at the last Sleeping Beauty story panel on the ride, the hair color of King Stefan is white instead of black. Secondly, the pink and blue carriages from Casey Jr. Circus Train were originally a part of King Arthur's Carousel.
We love Mary Poppins as well! Lost Boy Jake drew Jingles the horse inside his Autograph Sketchbook and had Mary Poppins and Bert sign it. They loved it so much, they wanted to see his other work inside as well.

6:39 hope you didn’t forget the organ inside the carousel this organ is a Wurlitzer 157 replica organ it’s no longer being played the real one is owned by the Arnold chase collection which that is a fully functional organ but this organ on the carousel was built by the Rudolph Wurlitzer CO. When this organ was being made so yea

My parents once told me that when I was maybe 2 or 3, I was chosen by a cast member to pull the sword out, but for some reason, I didn't want to go. Maybe I was to shy or I didn't want to look like a failure? Anyways, they chose some other kid who pulled it out
