Hey, I am planning to upgrade my Roland TD4-kp kit with a kd-9 kick pad to accommodate a double bass pedal. I was wondering if it is possible to do so. I am having doubts about the spacing around the kd-9 pad. Please help !
Sadly enough, these rubber pads seems very loud compared to normal rubber pads or mesh pads. I don't see why they don't do a mesh-head version of this or at least make it possible to change to mesh on all the pads and not just the snare. I'm sure there's a way to make that possible without compromising the folding abilities of this kit. The loudness of the rubber pads is what keeping me from buying this right away.
Yes. Roland has fixed the pads, and thrown in the worst module they offer. Together with the TD-11 it would be a superb set. I wonder whether it's compatible with the TD-11, and can it folded into the same dimensions with the upgrade.
Yeah the portability is what's making me think twice... but I think the TD 1k's brain is better, it's cheaper and plus it's upgradable but yeah... still not sure.
If you are in America, You don't need to do all these steps. just loosen bolts and let it fall and fold up. It'll go into your SUV. If you are in Japan, you will have to follow all the steps as shown. You don't have any space in the subway.
If it's going to be "portable" it shouldn't require any tools and it should allow you to set back up without having to readjust everything. This is no more portable than any other e-drum set.
There will never be such a thing. A full drum kit which you don't have to make even slightly smaller to make it portable. You could fold it so a small carrying standard to fit in the bag in under a minute once you know how. Tell me another E drum kit with this quality that you can go from playing to sling over your shoulder in a bag in 2 minutes.
Great video I own the drums now just order the bag
How do you like them?
Why did roland discontinue the TD4KP and not come out with a kit similar to the TD4KP in 2023
Hello I would like you to make a video of how to disassemble the TD-11Kv battery in a more practical way for my locomotion with it.
is that charlie sheens voice?? lol

This is not a gigging kit. This is a practice in your studio apartment with headphones kit.

Even with a laptop you would need to carry a cable, so it's not portable anymore?
